I found this hotel to be comfortable clean, with excellent food. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for what we paid. It's true it could do with decorating but overall we were very happy By the way we thought the beds were comfortable too.

Room was in 'farmhouse' which unfortunately was in need of some redecoration and attention and smelt of damp. Room 28 has wallpaper coming off the wall and furniture which is badly worn, marked and is missing handles. To top it off at breakfast the bread l made toast with was mouldy!!! In Devon every week on business but never going... More

We stayed here for 2 nights bed and breakfast. When we arrived we had to pay straight away for our stay where most places you would pay on departure. We wasn't given any info such as breakfast, dinner times or checking out times, I had to ask. Our room was very basic but OK. As we were going to a... More

Stayed 1 night after arrival from ferry before travel home. Bar staff/ reception was very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean with tea, coffee, wifi and tv. Furniture was very tired. Car park and hotel was full of contractors who were staying, but it was not noisy. No meals served after 9pm and a large Tesco Lee Mill store is... More

The staff are friendly at this inexpensive hotel. The hotel is a little tired but clean. The rooms are adequate and of reasonable size. The bar has a small seating area and the restaurant is of similar size. The breakfast is part self service and part cooked to order. Nothing exceptional but decent enough. Parking is free and there appears... More

Receptionist very good. BUT I had booked a twin bedroom 4 months ahead and we were given a double with bunk beds. My travelling companion, an adult much younger than I, insisted I took the double. She has a very painful back so the mattress being very soft, put it onto the floor - this did not help, however it... More

Stayed for 1 night as we went to see Rod Stewart at Home Park. Sat nav took us right to the door. Lovely looking on the outside and Reception is big too with the bar to the right hand side following through to the Restaurant. We arrived an hour early as we was just wanting a spot of lunch and... Badly in need of refurbishment, and anti mould treatment. Exterior wood rotten. Inside was clean and bedding was clean and fresh. Unable to shower as I am disabled and shower was over bath. Did not eat here as we went to the Barbican.

This hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment, especially internally. Our wardrobe door was hanging off a bit, the plastic pipe casing running up the wall was loose and the toilet roll holder was barely attached to the wall. We also came back from being out to find a puddle on the floor in the bathroom where the basin... More
