Brilliant, one of the best places we've stayed. Food good , service great everything was perfect . I would recommend this hotel , very reasonably priced as well . In a very sweet village. No too far from Maidstone and Leeds castle .

We have just spent a night at the Dog and Bear. Staff super, excellent room, lovely atmosphere and great value for money. Ideally situated for exploring Kent. Pretty village with lots of charm. We will definitely visit again.

a beautiful pub in this pretty village with ample parking...we were in the annex overlooking the courtyard-unfortunately we were frequently disturbed by hearing people chatting-not only late into the night -but early in the morning the room was fine, breakfast was delicious-and the staff were friendly we were aware that many of the other guests had not had a good...

We needed to find somewhere at short notice and booked via one of those lastminutebooking.com type of sites. The staff were really friendly and our room was clean well equipped and just what we needed. Breakfast was really good as well Would stay again if we are visiting in the area.

Booked by my daughter for a meal prior to her wedding the next day. 8 adults and 2 children. Though the staff were extremely busy we received super service. Meals were substantial in size and cooked perfectly. I can recommend the steak and spitfire ale pie. The 2 children were catered for. Unfortunately none of the adults managed to find...

Great hotel with staff who can not do enough for you. The room was comfortable with every home comfort. We ate in the restaurant and had fantastic food. Despite the hotel being in the middle of the village it was very quiet. We would certainly stay here again.
