I stayed on August the 20th 16, beautiful little place really relaxing. The staff are friendly and the hottub room was to die for, had a great time with my partner and a few family members also staying. The food was really good.. the only reason I couldn't give a 5 star feedback was the portion size. I paid £10... More

I booked this hotel for my family at short notice; a one-night stop off on the way to the ferry, via booking.com. The main reason for choosing it was that it had a room that could accommodate a family of 5 (which limited our choice). On arrival, it was clear that the place had a run-down quality. The flower-festooned patio... More

On the site of an old Forge, the Harrow has been a Coaching Inn for the last few hundred years (or so the history books would seem to indicate). The building is quirky, and due to its age there are some parts that have moved over the last century or so. The room we had was a good size, and... More

We had a lovely couple of nights stay. Very reasonable rates, and good food. The man serving in the restaurant and behind the bar was very friendly, a real asset to the place. Plenty of very hot water. Room a little 'tired' but clean.

Not a place to visit. Visited Harrow Inn last year. Terrible place, not any comfort at all. Very rude staff, they hate people who enjoy days out and do their best to spoil your holidays. If you wish to visit the place you are welcome just to rent a room and go to your uncomfortable bed and sleep. No customer... More

Our group of 8 stayed here the night before our Dover channel crossing. We had 2 family rooms next to each other (free wifi) . The position of inn is very quiet, which made for a good sleep. The rooms were very spacious and clean, if not a little tired and dated. The next morning we had a delicious and... More

After debating to go away for a peaceful birthday from the the kids, we booked this off the cuff, and it was lovely very out the way but oh my god it was needed. The Saturday we booked in we was shown to our room and very pleasantly surprised, room 9.....it was lovely, the bar staff was great and very... More

I am a great advocate for keeping our lovely old, period hotels in existence. This is clean, neat and has huge character, it's not the Holiday Inn, plastic and uninteresting. Quirky, make it a destination, and thank you Colin for a kind welcome and an opportunity for a nightcap too. Well done, this is what makes it all worthwhile.
