This is the second time in two years we have stayed at the hotel for a wedding, as a venue it is fabulous, beautiful building, lovely grounds and the staff very attentive. The large feature bedrooms are beautiful, the others have the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Some places such as the Orangery could do with a...

Stayed here as a wedding guest; fantastic location, beautiful and calm. Location is a slight challenge to find 1st time but plenty of parking when you arrive and reception staff are very helpful and always appeared to be available. The bar area is slightly cramped however but the outside area is fantastic with easy opportunity to stretch your legs. The...

I only stayed for one evening at this hotel but would have loved to stay longer and appreciate the beautiful surroundings and facilities on offer. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable with many special 'touches' like the dressing gowns, quality bedding, Sky TV, Free Internet and in room Tea and Coffee making facilities. Breakfast was 5* Quality with...

Very happy with our overnight special offer stay. I had a manor house classic room which was beautiful and I paid extra to have some canapes and chocolates in the room on arrival that were excellent! The Food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was superb! Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Beautiful grounds and helpful staff!

I was supposed to stay last weekend for a wedding, but was so put out by the un helpful attitude of the reception staff that I ended up staying else where, that night. I have found from experience that the various tell tell signs of a hotel in decline seldom end in a pleasant over night stay. A simple request...

Lovely setting - nice country location - pretty and peaceful. The hotel itself was OK - we had a mews room, nice easy access, comfy four-poster (although phoney - the posts looked like fabric-covered plywood) but with uncomfortable period chairs. The bathroom was rather tired and needed an overhaul. Dinner was good (quality and service), but service at breakfast was...
