Having tried two other hotels in the Handpicked group (Nutfield Priory and Buxted Park) and absolutely loved them, we decided to stay at Chilston Park. Sadly it is not in the same league. The building is lovely, very old with beautiful grounds. We stayed in the Tudor Suite which was huge and nicely styled with authentic antique furniture, although I... More

I stayed at Chilston Park for 2 nights, for the wedding of a close friend. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and escorted to a well appointed, and charming room in the carriage house. Think exposed beams, eaves etc. Beds were spacious and very comfortable, bathroom had a bath and a powerful shower. Hotel staff were all exceptionally friendly and... More

We had booked for a family afternoon tea after having been advised by several friends this was a great place to go to. The house is very pretty and in a lovely setting so that was lovely. We had to hire a separate room because there were more than 9 of us. On arrival nobody took us to our room,... More

My wife and I recently stayed at Chilston Park as soon as we arrived we were greeted by Guy a very friendly gentleman who showed us to reception and carried our bags to our room (we stayed in Spy). Everything you could want for a short break vacation. Lovely atmospheric building, wonderful large room in the news, very good evening menu with well presented food and really friendly, sociable and considerate staff, They even have in the lounge area a selection of games. The grounds are vast with lots of rabbits bounding around and an outdoor chess board. Breakfast... More

Fantastic hotel, wonderful food and the staff couldnt do enough for you. Wonderful experience we would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break. We stayed one night on our trip to europe, as its only half an hour from the channel tunnel. Great stop off point on your way to or from europe.

This is a wonderful Manor House that retains many of the features from a time when it was a private residence. The history of that period is there for you to enjoy. It is situated near to Lenham in its own private Parklands that takes helicopter landings. We stayed it two different rooms that were well appointed and comfortable. If... More

A former country house, set in attractive grounds with a lake. Located just outside Lanham, close to the M20 motorway. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Our room was attractrively decorated, based upon a theme. Breakfast was exceptionally good. I would certainly stay here again as a base from which to explore Kent.
