Spent a night here for a quick break away. Very friendly welcome from the couple who run the B & B. The separate entrance gives a great feeling of 'independence'. Spacious room with a lovely shower room with nice hot powerful shower. Nice toiletries provided. Tea, coffee, drinks and biscuits provided in room. Adjacent dining room has small fridge/mini-bar with... More

We have just returned from a two-night stay in this charming house, situated very conveniently in the centre of the old part of the village making it easy to visit the ruins of the old castle and priory - the castle is almost over the rear wall of the garden!, There are various interesting walks close by, both short and... My partner and I stayed here for one night to get some uninterrupted time to make a start on a business plan. We were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment we entered and were shown around the lovely spacious room with it's own private entrance then left in peace with instructions to let them know if we needed... We paid £70 a night for two nights when attending a wedding nearby. This B&B is run by a charming couple who couldn't be more helpful. You can choose what you want for breakfast which is freshly prepared. Our room was exposed to the elements on three sides and on the cold night we arrived, it was only just warm... More

We stayed here overnight on a trip to Norfolk for a family holiday. Due to delays on the A14, we arrived after dark and did have a little trouble finding it without an obvious b&b sign from the direction we came but Jim did spot us crawling very slowly outside and came out to direct us in. Incredibly friendly couple,... More

This is a lovely house in a beautiful village. The hosts were friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. If we weren't about to move to the area we would stay there again and again. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Baileygate B&B as we had a party to go to in the village. Jim and Liz could not have been more welcoming (and understanding as we returned back a little late!). We made the booking at short notice and we stayed in the second B&B bedroom in the main house which was nice as we felt part... More

I stayed at this B&B whilst walking the Peddars Way and after a hard days walking I was very glad of my choice. Refreshing tea (with fresh milk straight from the fridge) and biscuits topped up my sugar levels, a stretch out on the sofa catching up on the news on the HD TV helped me rest before I popped... On arrival we were greeted by Jim, who immediately made us feel very welcome. The room (downstairs at the rear of the house) has its own entrance, which is a definite bonus. The beds were comfortable and the breakfasts excellent. The bathroom is modern and in very good order. The village is lovely and boasts two tea rooms (though only... More
