Host Jim gave a friendly welcome at this full of character house.Great location for the Castle, Priory and of course the Ostrich pub! The room has a separate entrance and access to garden where an arrival "cuppa"was enjoyed. The fridge and honesty bar was a bonus. A very comfortable nights sleep and a full breakfast saw me on my way. Jim was about to embark on a 10k charity run -I hope he made it!

Stayed here for one night after walking over 20 miles of Peddars Way. Was welcomed at the door by the owner and shown to a lovely room with its own access and an en suite shower room. The room had a wonderful tea tray, with biscuits, and a fridge in the dining room with fresh milk and drinks with an honesty pot. The bed was super comfortable and after walking that far we both slept really well! Breakfast the next morning was fantastic! We had chosen what we wanted to eat the night before and, at the time we had selected on the form, the table was set with a selection of cereals, milk, yogurt & fruit. Fresh coffee & toast were brought to us with one of the best English breakfasts we had ever tasted! The hosts were extremely attentive and we would definitely recommend this little gem.

We stayed at Baileygate B&B for a couple of nights. The location is excellent, close to the local amenities and sites. The accommodation is superb, a rare luxury of your own private entrance, hosts for which nothing was too much trouble and a delicious breakfast. Castle Acre itself has the most amazing Priory and Castle. There is a lovely circular walk and you are only 30 mins from the coast.

Spent a night here for a quick break away. Very friendly welcome from the couple who run the B & B. The separate entrance gives a great feeling of 'independence'. Spacious room with a lovely shower room with nice hot powerful shower. Nice toiletries provided. Tea, coffee, drinks and biscuits provided in room. Adjacent dining room has small fridge/mini-bar with beers and wine (and fresh milk for your drinks). Great choice for breakfast - the local sausages and bacon were particularly good. The village of Castle Acre is spectacular with loads of historic interest. Good local pub in village and excellent coffee shop. Well worth a visit!
