Stayed overnight when going to a weddding earlier in the summer and was so impressed with the little B and B we found. Rooms were small but beautiful and the tea shop downstairs is so sweet with the most lovely breakfast! The owners were so nice too. Castle Acre is also charming and the castle ruins are well worth a... More

I stayed here with a friend last week on a short break in Norfolk looking at some of the wonderful historic churches and abbeys in the area. Despite terrible weather, the owners were warm and friendly, and generously shared their knowledge of the area with us. The room, although small, was warm, clean and comfortable, and breakfast excellent. The location... More

We stayed here as we were walking the Peddars Way. Being next to the church it is easy to find and on arrival we enjoyed a fresh pot of tea - not surprising as it is a cafe as well as a B&B. Frank showed us to our rooms which were clean and pleasant. Being an old cottage they have... More

Castle Gate B&B was recommended to us and we had a lovely stay there (3 nights). The owners, Frank and Sheila, were very welcoming and we found their local knowledge very useful. The B&B is an ancient and characterful building - just what we like! Breakfast set us up for the day - high quality, just the right quantity and... More

I stayed for 2 nights while attending a wedding in West Lexham. I would highly recommend this lovely B&B. Perfect in fact. Every part of my short stay there was excellent and I would not hesitate to return.

I understand other reviewers comments about cramped room. I found it ok for the one night stay that I had. At least the shower worked well which is not always the case, the bed was comfortable and breakfast delicious. My only criticism is ,at my time of arrival, there was no notice to advise that you have to walk into... More

Wonderfully comfortable bed at end of a long day walking. Wide selection for breakfast which was well cooked. Room was quiet and cosy, had everything I needed and a television.Staff were kind andreally knowledgeable about the area.

I have repeated Helen K's review made a week ago titled cramped b&b. and made changes according to my experience. - It goes -The room was extremely small. The shower door opened into the bedroom so no privacy. It had a large toilet so space was not well used. My comments - The breakfast was fine with fresh fruit etc.Being... More

We have also in the same week as your stay received a certificate of excellence from trip advisor. We have been operating this premise for 15 years. We have had thousands of visitors... More

We popped in on the half chance that they had any rooms for the night. The owner said he only had one room, which was his smallest, but it was fine for us for the night. The owner was very helpful, informing us of the local pub that served food. The breakfast was excellent, enhanced by a selection of fresh... More
