This is pretty much my local. I have been many times with friends for a meal there. I had friends over from Dubai on Sunday, so decided to treat them to a Sunday lunch. We were told we could only have an 11:30 slot, which was a bit early but as we had a couple of kids with us we...

Hi, Thank you very much for your comments regarding your Sunday lunch. Firstly, only three of your party of eight arrived around 11:30am, in which you came to the bar for a drink and sat down on the sofas. The rest of your party arrived at 11:45am and also ordered drinks at the bar. By the time everybody had arrived,...

A fab place to visit, close to Barh with excellent transport links. A real find, we will definitely be staying here again. Only negative - the occasional train going past the room- but it didn't really bother us- apart from this it was very quiet. The staff were lovely, very helpful.

I was recommended to come here and first impressions were good - the décor was lovely and the staff friendly and welcoming but sadly the food did not live up to expectations. I had the Cod with the green Thai curry sauce which could have been lovely but sadly the dish was dry due primarily to lack of sauce and...

Nice location, very helpful friendly staff, room was comfortable and clean, lovely shower wet room, good breakfast with lots of variety, and for us the location in the county 4 miles from bath was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quite relaxing break with easy access to Bath

We stayed here for two nights as a family of three. Matt (the owner) took time out to talk to us on arrival and check everything was OK. The room we had was fantastic with a massive en suite finished to a very high standard. Everywhere was clean and tidy. We ate in the bar / restaurant both nights and...

We were so lucky to find such a lovely place to stay for our anniversary break. Staff and accommodation were top notch, and the food absolutely superb. Impressed by the attention to detail particularly in the guest rooms; large tv, free wifi, hairdryer. iron and ironing board, complimentary slippers and bath robes, bottles of hand soap and lotion by shower,...

Our detached room at back of property was spacious, nice decor and well equipped. Trainline at rear of property wasn't intrusive for us. Meals and bar were very good and the service friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking and nice garden. Good bus service to Bath outside pub door.
