My first trip to the UK and this was one of the first places we stayed. Upon entering we were greeting with a charming country living room with a nice fire going in the fireplace. Tea and Victorian sponge cake were offered (delicious) and we were shown to our room. The room was just perfect. It was clean and looked... More

Great experience, couldn't do enough for us. Comfortable rooms which were well laid out, with good beds. Wonderful location with great views and plenty of wildlife and a relaxing atmosphere. Brilliant breakfast with homemade sausages and succulent fresh eggs.

My Girlfriend From USA was with me to see the famous Bridgwater Carnival and I chose this pleasant B+B to stop at for a couple of days. I am so glad I did. Its tucked away around the typical country lanes of the area and commands a lovely view from the bedroom windows. We both commented on the warm, cosy atmosphere... More

Perfect....Stayed in the King bedroom, large room with very comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended. Such wonderful country side, cannot imagine what it is like living on this working farm.

This is a quiet and good B&B just outside the village of Maundown. The hosts are great, very welcoming and friendly. Tea and cake on arrival was a bonus! The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, including en-suite, tea and coffee and wifi. Breakfast was also excellent, fresh products and plenty of it. Would recommend.

Food is good honest home made / grown farm cooking and nothing is too much trouble for Margaret. I felt welcome and very relaxed. Thank you. Very nice b&b. The scenery was beautiful. Very secluded spot. Not good if you need reliable internet or mobile connections. Not easy to find so get clear directions. Very nice owner. Not en suite but did not matter as I was the only person using the bathroom. Room quite small but suitable.

We had an excellent stay, Our hosts were lovely and we were greeted with a nice "good morning" every day. Bed was very comfy, breakfast was very good and filling, my only suggestion would be is to maybe have baked beans added. Nothing was too much trouble. Taunton is only 30 minutes drive and there's lots to do and see.

We landed on our feet here - we tried to book in to a Travelodge, late afternoon, but they were full, so sent us here. What a contrast - a beautiful, tranquil location with gorgeous grounds and views. Our hosts were so welcoming that they came to escort us to the house from Wiveliscombe! Great room and good night's sleep... More

I stayed here on business. I stayed in a double ensuite bedroom which was charming. Good shower. Furniture is very traditional and comfortable. The house is secluded, but there are some good pubs nearby which do good food. Margaret is a very good host, and her food is lovely. She was making strawberry jam when I arrived so the house...
