I made a group booking for a business trip for my team. It was our first time staying at the hotel and I was a little anxious given the Tier 3 restrictions at the time and the length of time we were staying there. The hotel team made our stay very comfortable and bent over backwards to ensure we were fed even with our unsocialable working hours. The team were incredibly friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Thank you for a great stay :)
I use the hotel often for short business stays and the staff are always extremely welcoming and pleasant during my stay. The Hall and gardens are beautiful to wake up to and it feels a bit like home from home.
We managed to get away for my other half’s birthday, and booked this is secret escapes. They had messed up, and overbooked so we ended up in the 15th century Manor House rather than the standard rooms. The room was amazing. High ceilings, old fashioned yet somehow stylish rooms and a bathroom to die for. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the windows was pretty great. The grounds was an enjoyable experience to walk around, however there are areas that could be updated, like the fountain. We are dinner at the restaurant, the meals were rather good, and had a fish/veggie selection too. We couldn’t get into the spa as it was fully booked but will try again next time.
We've been visiting the Walton hotel and Hall for some years now and find it to be a wonderful away-from-it-all base hidden away in its wonderful grounds and surrounding countryside. We stay in one of the modern hotel wings (normally, there is the stately old house too) and like to explore from it the Cotswolds and Warwickshire. Closer still, is Stratford on Avon and Warwick with its amazing castle. We always find the staff at The Walton hotel to be most welcoming, friendly and helpful and they have been coping very well to keep the hotel functioning during the covid period. We'll look forward very much to returning.
