I like to try and be positive but this hotel is not great. We were staying in the main hall. Arrived to a staff member on the phone, when he finally looked up he didn't smile or say anything. He checked us in and didn't tell us anything about the hotel - it is split into two parts. The room...

Lovely setting. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Some way out of town (£20-£30 taxi) but worth it for the extensive grounds. Food excellent and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the visit and would stay again.

Stayed on a business meeting for 1 night. The room itself was OK, nothing particularly special but no major hang ups either. I didn't sleep to well in the bed but that was more than likely me just being away from home. This hotel was let down by it's staff. They all (bar Lorenzo on the bar and the gentleman...

This hotel sits in glorious country side surrounded by fields and trees which had ewes with their lambs when we stayed in May. The Hotel and Hall have extensive grounds with large lakes, weeping willows, and the promise of water lilies in bloom later. Many ducks and a pair of swans sitting on a nest on the island in one...

Modern hotel with attentive staff in restaurant. Bedrooms and bed comfortable but lack of draw space and hanging space not ideal for longer stays. Well equipped leisure facilities and attractive grounds. Great location for access to Stratford and surrounding areas but hotel can become a bit busy with coach parties.

Stayed with my partner last night as we attended a wedding elsewhere and needed somewhere to stay. We booked last minute after reading a few reviews and viewing the photos on the hotels website. I have stayed in quite a few 4 star hotels so I have a good idea of what to expect and I am by no means...

We originally booked at stay at the Walton Hall Hotel and Spa as Christmas present to our mum after the sudden loss of our father in October last year. Our original stay did not live up to our expectations in regards to the spa side of the visit (we couldn't fault the staff, rooms and food. These were all fantastic)...

We took up a two day offer of dinner, bed and breakfast seen in a local newspaper. It appeared to be good value, and in a way it was. However, there was a kind of 'spookiness' to the hotel and restaurant. It is very large inside but made up of endless narrow corridors. I stated at the time of booking...

My wife stayed here as we were attending a wedding near by. The grounds are absolutely beautiful; so picturesque pulling up to to the hall and driving over the bridge. The double room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot, tasty, plentiful and the staff were obliging and polite. The spa was small but satisfying; we went in...

Room was ok one bulb out but plenty of hot water and quiet at night. However the public areas were overcrowded, long wait at bar and cheapest wine over £24 a bottle and a beer £4.80 pint! Coach parties arriving every night filling foyer, bar and restaurant. Totally inadequate seating in bar/ public areas. Restaurant very noisey in evening filled...
