Although the grounds and building is very beautiful, I can not say the same for the staff's manners. They are very rude and I did not feel welcomed at all during my whole stay here. When saying goodbye and Thank You for the stay I got ignored by a number of members. Whilst asking for more water at dinner, one... More

We went for lunch with two friends and were impressed. Beautiful surrounding and superb food. Staff attentive but not over-zealous. Lovely to have tea served in bone china. Will definitely return for another visit. There was also pleasant seating in the garden and a quiet relaxing atmosphere throughout

I had been here before, and the menue was the same as previously. I ordered the soup, and there was nearly a SOOUUPP moment all of our party noticed that my soup was getting very close to the edge of the plate !!! However it was colourful and hot, but not very tasty. Others ordered different starters, and as I... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our restaurant. Our lunchtime special of 2 courses for £13.95 is a very popular choice and the Freshly cooked Smoked Haddock extremely so, as half of your party seemed to agree when ordering it. I can assure you that the smell was not 'stale' as you suggest. Our menu... More

We stayed in Angmering Manor for one night. The room rate was slightly over our B&B budget - but it was worth every penny. The house and the garden are beautiful and the people are very kind and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality. Nina

My sister and I have just spent the weekend at Angmering Manor. It's situated in a small village that has a couple of pubs and a few shops but is only about 10 minutes from the picturesque village of Arundel with its beautiful castle and lovely independent shops and restaurants and only about 25 minutes from Chichester. The hotel has... More

First impressions are often deceptive, The manor looks a treat from outside, old, steeped in history and pleases the eye. Ample car parking available and in an excellent location. Check in - Mature guy, surly and to be honest seemed disinterested, no smiles, no warm welcome etc. Shown to a rather tired looking room with decor more akin to Del... More

We've just got back from a family stay at Angmering Manor for two nights with two small children of 1 and 4. Initially I was anxious as a hotel stay isn't always straight forward with children, however I should not have worried. It was great. We booked last minute so had a twin family room. Myself and my husband had... More

Upon arrival we were shown to our four poster bedroom and first impressions were good. The bed was very high ( I like that ) it was also very comfy. Tea and coffee making facilities were nice but only one choice of tea and one small packet of biscuits. The bathroom was immaculate and had a Jacuzzi and a separate... More

Though I am struggling to decide whether it is a poor review or an average one, I will have to go with poor as we paid rather a lot for a room that was damp, mouldy, and dusty, not decorated of 10-15 years, and despite noting that one of us are gluten free on our booking there were no GF... More

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The service from the staff, Jill in particular, was terrific. They couldn't do enough for you. I had just booked it because it was convenient to visit Arundel Castle. It turned out to be one of the best parts of my birthday celebration. Not only a great place to visit Arundel... More
