I booked this hotel as it was just minutes away from a music festival we were attending. We arrived early and was prepared to wait in the bar until the correct check in time but was pleased to hear that our room was ready. We thought it was a lovely personal touch for the welcoming owner to show us too... More

Stayed here on a Saturday night for a birthday getaway. The Lamb is on the main square of Angmering which is a lovely little village. Very good food, including breakfast. Menu including wine very reasonably priced, and excellent quality. Staff friendly and welcoming and the room was sympathetically furnished and decorated, in keeping with the old building but with some... More

We had a two night stay at the Lamb and were continually impressed by the service and the surroundings. Fabulous staff made us feel very welcome and they couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely; well-appointed and tastefully-decorated. We had a lovely meal in the pub and the breakfast was great too. We will definitely be back.

I can see that most people write cracking reviews of this little gem, so I will just add my own personal time there. I had a very warm reception from a young man who took me to my room and showed me around...very casual, which I like because I am a private peson who doesn't like any fuss...I travel all... More

Our clean and comfortable room was tastefully furnished with a modern en suite bathroom. Situated on the square in a picturesque village, our room faced onto the rear of the property (little noise). Staff was welcoming and efficient. Our reserved table in the restaurant was ready upon arrival for dinner, which was well prepared and delicious. There is also a... More

I booked this hotel for 1 night as we were going to a Sunday morning event at Goodwood. I also booked dinner for the Saturday evening. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. There were tea and coffee making facilities (with a Nespresso machine) and complimentary still and sparkling water. The bed was very comfortable and... More

4 of us shared 2 twin rooms. The bathrooms have just been refurbished and are excellent, particularly shower pressure. Our room looked onto the rear car park so it was nice and quiet. Everything in the room is new, clean and tidy,an excellent stay.

The accomadation, food and staff were all without exception brilliant. If you are tired of the same old accomadation offered give the Lamb a try, you will not be disappointed. Fabulous nights stay. Excellent facilities, very comfortable bed, lovely location, friendly helpful staff - will definitely visit again when in the area. From start to finish no complaints at all. Dinner was fabulous with a menu that was far superior to many 'upper end' resstraunts
