We stayed here for a short break, visiting local attractions. The first room we were showed to was fabulous, with its own entrance and an amazing bathroom. Unfortunately, it was really rather cold and we couldn't work out how to turn the heating up! We asked at reception, and the lady said that it was underfloor heating and would take...

I stayed here with a friend as part of her 50th birthday celebration. We had dinner which was lovely- friendly staff, beautiful ambiance and delicious food and then stayed the night. The room was tastefully decorated, had a real fireplace, a lovely new bathroom and comfortable beds. There was even a smart TV. I would stay here again in a...

I was staying here for business. The room was big, with a huge, comfortable bed. The bathroom was lovely, with a good shower. Nice little touches, with a Nespresso machine. The only downside was the noise from the pub travelled to the rooms, so it was quite loud until closing, but this was only a minor niggle. I would recommend...

The overall experience at The Lamb was good but we had a couple of niggling negatives. Firstly there were two issues with the room one minor + one a little more of an issue. The first (minor) issue was tha a dirty spoon had been left in one of the coffee cups the second issue was that there was a...

Whole room was beautifully presented and the beds were ridiculously comfortable - slept amazingly. Had a very warm welcome from the staff and great service throughout. We had...

We stayed here last night and were warmly greeted upon our arrival and taken up to our room. The room was lovely and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice with full English, fresh juice and coffee. The only little quark I have is that there was no iron in the room but this was soon rectified...

I booked this hotel as it was just minutes away from a music festival we were attending. We arrived early and was prepared to wait in the bar until the correct check in time but was pleased to hear that our room was ready. We thought it was a lovely personal touch for the welcoming owner to show us too...

Stayed here on a Saturday night for a birthday getaway. The Lamb is on the main square of Angmering which is a lovely little village. Very good food, including breakfast. Menu including wine very reasonably priced, and excellent quality. Staff friendly and welcoming and the room was sympathetically furnished and decorated, in keeping with the old building but with some...

We had a two night stay at the Lamb and were continually impressed by the service and the surroundings. Fabulous staff made us feel very welcome and they couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely; well-appointed and tastefully-decorated. We had a lovely meal in the pub and the breakfast was great too. We will definitely be back.

I can see that most people write cracking reviews of this little gem, so I will just add my own personal time there. I had a very warm reception from a young man who took me to my room and showed me around...very casual, which I like because I am a private peson who doesn't like any fuss...I travel all...
