Travelers' Choice 2019 Winner
Certificate of Excellence
Created by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc OBE, Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons is renowned for offering one of Britain's finest gastronomic experiences. Situated in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Great Milton, it is also one of the country's most intimate and original hotels, with 32 individually designed guest rooms and suites. The hotel received two Michelin stars in 1984, the first year of its opening, and, remarkably, has held them ever since. Surrounded by lawns, flower borders and orchards, the luxury hotel enjoys an idyllic, typically English setting. But beyond the eye-catching displays are vegetable and herb gardens that provide the kitchen-and the acclaimed Raymond Blanc Cookery School-with ultra-fresh, organic produce, ensuring the Michelin-star restaurant remains at the cutting edge of culinary excellence.

Simply sensational, an experience not to be forgotten. From the grand setting as you pull in the drive, the moment you arrive to the time you sadly leave this place is out of this world. We took my wife’s parents for joint 70th Birthday gifts. They said it was the best place

We said we would always return and we did in December. Some quality time before the madness of Christmas arrived. Last time we didn’t get chance to view the gardens as we came for dinner, we came for lunch this time and had a nice walk around the garden before we ate. Due to

We have wanted to eat here for quite a long time, and our wedding anniversary gave us the perfect reason to finally try it. We also decided to stay in one of their garden suites for the evening, since in doing so both the evening meal and breakfast is included in the overall

Since I first learned of this French style country manor in the heart of the English countryside in the eighties, I have wanted to ante up the considerable sums necessary to enjoy its amenities. I spent four nights and days in residence in January. It as the kind of experience I

After 1500hr check in and 1100 hrs check out if I remember . The wine pairing is an addition and you have different levels of pairings. As for the room my wife had requested at the time of booking .

We were ‘Lavande’ and it was a perfect suite in every way, truly beautiful and nothing missed - everything is of the utmost quality, even an amazing sewing basket too! Even the fruit bowl and decanter of Madeira were outstanding! The bathroom was fabulous, with TV over the bath too! I can’t speak highly enough of it all in fact and it reminds me of my beloved late aunt’s much missed manor house ... everything was blissful from start to finish. No the wine flight is separate. We didn’t have it and felt we didn’t need it (just had a bottle then a digestif in the lounge afterwards) as the food was so heavenly and definitely the main focus ... we’ve eaten in a LOT of very nice restaurants/hotels but this is something else ... no wonder at all that it was ranked #1 in U.K. for so long! Be sure to allow plenty of time to relax enjoy an aperitif in the lounge before you go into dinner and don’t miss the gardens and mushroom valley ... wow, those gardeners really know what they’re doing - it’s all so bountiful and prolific ... wonderful to see all the vegetables and micro, herbs etc growing for use in the restaurant. Oh and a wander around the church next door is lovely too. Ahhh, enjoy, I’m envious 😍 I’d be back there in a heartbeat.
