Looking for a last minute overnight stay while touring about North Wales. Super place, out in the countryside with spectacular views. Well worth the drive. Siwan is the perfect host. Her home cooking was fantastic. Nothing too much trouble for her. Gave us plenty of tips of places to visit. Lovely room. Jacuzzi a bonus. We will definitely return when...

Having stayed at the Hawk and Buckle a few times I was aware of what to expect, friendly welcome, very clean bedroom and excellant food. Siwan the joint owner was so friendly that you would think that you were regular customers, the menu was varied but weel cooked and presented.

Fantastic evening in a lovely local pub with Siwan making us feel welcome for our whole stay. Room was spotlessly clean and spacious and jacuzzi bath was a bonus. Evening meal was really good and great atmosphere in the bar. Will definitely go again

Charming Inn with a warm welcome by the landlady\head chef owner. Great home-made food in the evening and lovely beer. Comfortable guest rooms with views oner the valley to the coast. Homecooked breakfast that beats many 5 star hotels. This is a great place to make a base for visiting the other delights of north Wales - and there are...

Excellent place to stay, room was great with a great view of the valley beyond as well as the coastal area. Was the only guest on a Monday night, however still had the choice of the menu, food was excellent, both for evening meal and breakfast and a local cask ale to boot, would recommend.

This place is really a great find, despite the difficult access to the place on our arrival, after the first night roads were no problem. The owners were very helpful , the bedrooms very good , with breakfast and evening meals all very tasty. Into the bargain the weather for a three days visiting was great a lot of sight...
