Had room 9 which was in the annexe. Was very clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. Had a bath in the bathroom but couldn't get it enough water hot enough. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely room and nice breakfast. Only thing that let it down was the evening meal. It wasn't very good and was quite expensive. But, other than...

After a long day walking in the rain was great to see the hotel as I came over the last hill. Very warm welcome, everything very organised in terms of evening meals, packed lunches and breakfast arrangements. Room was comfy, no ensuite in my room, but that was not a big issue. Food was very good. TV didn't work in...

We were walking the WHW in driving rain and wind, and came on the Inveroran Hotel 3 miles into the walk that day. The cafe was not open for an hour, but Elaine took pity on us (crouched around the corner of the building out of the wind, trying to get our gear straight) and let us in to dry...

Strongly recommended to travelers along the WHW - the location is elegant and subtle enough to enjoy the moonlit night and starry skies. For a B&B, the food is quality and very traditionally Scottish - I had "neeps" for the first time with great success. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. They are also certainly clean and well kept. Staff were...

We stayed here on the 3rd day of our WHW walk, the accomodation was excellant nice and clean and the owners & staff were great hosts who made us very welcome. I had Haggis, neeps & tatties for dinner and cleared my plate (delicious). Everyone who ate was satisfied with their meal. The breakfast was just as good, with plenty...

Stayed here with my son on a walking holiday. It was just what we wanted a small friendly place with food very suited to the long walks we were making. Breakfast was outstanding & the meals came with that rarity in hotels ...lots of vegetables. I wish Elaine and her team well for the future

Hi I was proud to take a friend of mine from Australia on the west Highland way. Every night was incredible however the atmosphere In this place was that the backpackers were not welcome unless they had a room, the other people we met along the way had told us the next day they were threw in the lounge wondering...

A great remote location for day five of our West Highland Way. The room was OK and the shower room pretty ordinary really. Elaine gave us an excellent evening meal, including an introduction for me of haggis which I greatly enjoyed. The apple crumble was to die for!

Having read some of the reviews here, we were quite sceptic about the Inveroran Hotel and expected the worst, hoping for the best, which turned out to be true! We had nice warm rooms, excellent dinner and breakfast, very friendly personnel and on top of it, we could admire deer around the hotel.

As they say, Location, Location, Location. This was a great overnighter on the W.H.W beautiful in its isolation, at the start of Rannoch moor. I arrived at about 2pm and visited the bar where I joined a couple of friendly locals. With my drinks I had soup and a roll which were good. My room was on the ground floor,...
