Like many others reviewing this hotel,we stayed here as we journeyed along the WHW. Nadia, the new owner of the hotel, greeted us with a warm welcome. The pub offered a delicious bowl of soup on their menu and were glad we arrived early enough to try some. Dinner was served at 6pm. We enjoyed a vegetarian dish that was...

I loved this place having walked in from Tyndrum on the West Highland Way, we arrived to be greeted on reception by a very friendly young woman who's name I have unfortuantely forgotten and were booked into our room and also in the restuarant for dinner (there is nowhere else around) and were soon enjoying a relaxing cup of tea...

My sister, my dad and I stayed a night at the hotel during the west Highland way and had such a great time! I had injured myself and had a day off walking, so spent a lot of the day there and the team were so kind and attentive. I had lunch and dinner at the hotel and both were...

Stopped off on the West Highland Way. The service was fantastic! Lovely couple running the hotel and they're trying really hard to raise the bar. The rooms are in need of refurbishment as basics such as bedside lamps are missing, and bathrooms (although clean) have seen better days. On the upside, the bed was comfortable and there were nice touches...

My son and I were travelling down from Fort William to Glasgow and this was our second night stop. The hotel was friendly and nice and warm. The room was fine with a television and two beds and we shared a toilet/shower room with one other room. Dinner and breakfast were good. There was no mobile phone reception or wifi...

This is a hidden gem! The couple running the hotel are absolutely lovely and the service was great. What was really surprising was the standard of the food. Had a beautiful restaurant quality meal of goats cheese to start and coq au vin. Definitely the best meal we had the whole of the west highland way. Also this was the...

I didn't have a great first impression of my room but I warmed to the hotel over our short stay. The room was basic (room 4) and reminded me of staying in your old grannies attic room, although it was warm and the bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The shared bathroom was also in need...

What a little gem. Very, very friendly and efficient staff. Good food. Runs like a machine. Would totally recommend it. Particularly suited for walkers as muddy boots and wet clothes are not a problem. We stayed in the Annex as they were fully booked in the main part of the hotel, but this was not a problem.

Again another friendly welcome, even though we had arrived early after a short day's walk. Receptionist showed us to our rooms, which shared a bathroom. We arranged our evening meal from a fairly limited menu, but I have to say it was delicious and cooked very well. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the residents' lounge - avoiding the rain...
