From the serene setting by the river to the luxurious lounge area with giant fireplace and Chesterfield lounges we felt like Royalty.

The first thing you notice when arriving at Friars Carse is the beautiful setting, over-looking the river and amongst majestic woodland. We stayed in a room called Alder which was beautifully furnished (excellent pillows!) and had a modern spacious en-suite. The room was spotless.

We ate in The Hotel and found the food excellent with plenty of choice and as we were there for the New Year celebrations it was fabulous in the Marquee
