My husband, daughter and I spent one night here while visiting the West Coast. Beautiful location on the banks of loch linnie. Our room which was room 16 was poor value for money. The sheets were clean and bathroom was clean but the room was badly needing refurbished. Carpet was circa 1980 and had the stains to go with it. No... More

We had a meal here for a family of four. Food was nice apart from one of us finding tin foil in our food! Service wasn't great after eating our meal it took ages for them to clear out empty plates and after waiting quite a while and no dessert being offered we just asked for the bill and left.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights as a base for climbing Ben Nevis. We thought the hotel was lovely, although it is slightly dated the room was clean and a good size with a nice en suite. The staff were all really friendly. We had dinner there one night which we both liked. Good selection and a... More

The hotel is in a lovely situation & has a nice decking area outside the restaurant, where it's possible to eat outside in the good weather. We ate lunch, dinner & breakfast here. The food was pretty good & the service friendly. The accommodation was a bit shabby, though. Our toilet seat was cracked & the bathroom paint was peeling.... More

When we arrived we found that the staff were just waiting for a wedding party to arrive. And we were informed that we'd have to eat dinner in the residents' lounge and order any drinks at reception as the bar was for wedding guests only! The staff were pleasant about it and welcomed our dog. The room was Ok, not... More

Hotel could do with an upgrade aswell as overall customer service. Paint was peeling off walls and wasn't too impressed with the bathroom, could do with an updated shower and better lighting. We made a booking at this hotel when they had a wedding on. They closed the restaurant for all other paying guests without even informing us when we... More

Was looking forward to our stay but very disappointed the rooms had mould on ceilings and window frames could do with attention, could be cleaner. There was a wedding on but we weren't informed we couldn't eat in the hotel or use the bar and had been out all day with my elderly parents who just wanted to rest but... More

I stayed here in July right at the beginning of the school holidays, so available rooms around Fort William were very scarce. I paid £200 for 2 nights double room single occupancy. The hotel and rooms are very tired with the one I stayed in being very plainly decorated, but clean. The saving grace for my room was the amazing view,... More

We stopped here after deciding we couldn't camp another night in the rain. Double room and bathroom were both clean, bed was comfortable. There was nothing particular to write home about, although perhaps the rooms on the loch side have good views. Evening menu was quite extensive, and food was tasty, although pudding was a disappointment. Excellent breakfast with several... More

Beautiful location on the loch, service staff and food was very good , lots to see and do without to much driving close by , peaceful and calming. Will be going back there in the future for a longer stay. Room was clean and tidy good atmosphere about the place. No dislikes at all .
