Great overnight stay, warm friendly staff. Evening meal five stars, breakfast every thing you want to set you up for the day, full English, or porridge, or cereal. tea & coffee in rooms, bath & hand towels. Heating great for cold winter nights, good bar service. Room 2 had both bath & shower, room 1 just shower.

No frills but perfectly clean, comfortable and very friendly. In the bay, it was the first time I've seen a shark with my own eyes. A lovely place, and at a good price including breakfast, recommended

Have just returned from a week staying in the Sutherland Inn with six other gentleman. We had a really super week. The rooms are straightforward and functional, nothing fancy, but comfortable. Both Bill the owner and Wendy run a tight ship. Wendy is the chef, and the quality of both the choice of evening meal and breakfast was superb. Evidence...

Easy to book online via Expedia. Fast/efficient check-in, clean room, good pub grub (fish'n'chips followed by sticky toffee pudding), good beer (Orkney Gold), chatty staff, excellent breakfast. Handily placed for a stroll around Brora.

I had a burger, my wife the duck. The food was excellent. The place was pleasant and friendly, with the service efficient and very friendly from the start and throughout the meal. Would recommend food, and it was within the price range expected on our trip around the NC500.

We had a very warm welcome from Dylan Sutherland to this traditional Scottish Inn. The interior is furnished beautifully and the rooms are comfortable up a Sutherland tartan carpeted stairway. Our dinner was excellent, as the menu had something to suit everyone and the daily special of salmon was really tasty. Our group consisted of 7 people and the chosen...

Very nice little hotel on the main street of Brora. Large clean rooms and friendly service. We had a quiet room at the back overlooking the river. Free parking across the street in the Co-op lot. Nice breakfast - well prepared and served. Would recommend this hotel.

Me and the girlfriend went for an evening meal. The food was fresh as could be. Asked for a medium rare burger(didn't expect to get) but the chef happily cooked it the way I like. We had 2 starters 2 main meals, 3 drinks £40, worth every penny. Definitely would be back. Being a chef myself I was very impressed.
