I am unaccustomed to writing reviews online but decided that such was the high quality of this B&B that I should do so. Sue and Ian were very welcoming, the room was spotlessly clean as was the whole B&B and the meals were delicious. Everything was explained upon arrival and there was everything from beautiful gardens and views to TV and Wifi if you needed it. The room was of a high standard throughout with an extremely large bathroom, and the location was extremely convenient for the traveller who either wanted to be based there and travel around the district on a daily basis or who was on a longer touring holiday and was passing through. An excellent B&B and thoroughly recommended.

Very enjoyable stay from the moment Ian met me off the train. This delightful B and B is made home from home by the wonderful hosts, and has everything you would want: clean, warm and comfortable. Staying in the garden room you can wake to the dawn breaking over the most enviable view anywhere. What a find.

We had a reservation for the night in a different hotel that turned to be a disaster so we decided to find another place. We were really lucky of finding Larchwood through another Guest House. We booked the family room which is massive and has excellent finishes. Ian and Sue are great hosts. We felt welcomed from the first moment. The location is stunning. We had access to a beautiful garden and the river from our room. The personalised breakfast was excellent. We will definitely come back if we are around again!. Raul,Rosa & Enzo
