Our daughter planned her wedding here, such a lovely day, Jill the wedding coordinator was fabulous she helped make our day. The hotel itself is so lovely & relaxing, our bedroom was lovely & spacious, comfy bed, great bathroom. Lovely selection of freshly made sandwiches, mini quiches sausage rolls, macaroons, chocolate eclairs, Victoria cream cake and a fruit flan! Think I've remembered it all. Choice of various teas and coffee and a refill if required. Staff friendly and attentive and of... More

We actually stayed here July 15 but trip advisor will only allow me to go a yr back. We stayed in a juniours suite which had a separate lounge and bathroom away from the bedroom. The suite came with water, robes and slippers and the most beautiful smelling aromatherapy toiletries! We stayed on a dbb package and spent time wandering... More

We LOVE this hotel, everything about it is perfect. The grounds are gorgeous and perfect for walking around. EVERY staff member is friendly, professional and welcoming. They make every guest feel special. The spa is great, we love using the swimming pool. The rooms are incredible, we have only ever stayed in the premier lord Gainford suite, however, at our... More

Please don't come to Headlam Hall. This is our personal retreat and we visit every year for the most beautiful and relaxing weekend that change imagined. Two great restaurants, wonderful spa facilities, adorable building and grounds and luxurious rooms (we have stayed in every type of room that they have - including the Master's suite). It is starting to get... More

Called into the brasserie at lunchtime when booking a spa treatment. It is quite small but there is a nice view through the full length Windows. I had sweet potato and orange soup followed by lemon and blackberry cake which was very nice. Can't wait for my spa treatment now as it looks fantastic

I ordered a light lunch in the spa cafe and sadly had to make a complaint. The avocado was very black and bruised. The chef had hidden it under the bacon trying to get away with it instead of telling the waitress it was not available. I hate this trick. It wasn't an expensive meal but it still has to... More

We held our wedding at Headlam Hall on Thursday 28th July 2016. I was very impressed with Teri's professionalism and her attention to detail. Everything went perfectly. The staff were equally amazing. We were married in the Drawing Room as there were only 19 of us there. It was very romantic and felt as though we were dining with friends... More

Me and my best friend had a day out at Headlam Hall Spa with the champagne afternoon tea. The friendliness of the staff was great and the treatments and rooms were lovely and fresh. The spa facilities were fine for the 4* and there were the odd thing that didn't make it 5, like the showers and outdoor facilities! Overall... More
