We booked two nights here and despite some negative reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The room was well decorated, the bed very comfortable and everything was spotless. Our room had a balcony and lovely sea views, the shower was very efficient and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and willing although one evening several of our neighbours seemed...

Have stayed at the White Horse Hotel for about 10 years everytime iam on a holiday in the UK. This hotel is a rare hidden gem, as everything from the rooms to the food (the seabass is excellent) is way above the standard. Everyone at the White Horse from the General Manager down deserves a 10 out of 10. Also...

My partner and I visited this hotel last weekend. Enjoyed every part of it. Beautiful hotel and surroundings. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and there was a great range to choose from. I wouldn't hesitate in returning back in the future.

This is an unbiased and hopefully constructive review of the White Horse at Rottingdean, and Old English pub and hotel. We booked for four nights, at a reasonable price, and were given an accessible room that was fairly large, clean and suitable for our needs. This pub/hotel has a lot going for it, it has a large restaurant and bar,...

Upon arriving at the hotel we were allocated a room by a nice member of staff. He said that we had to give him a debit or credit card so he could pre authorise payment should there be any charges to the room such as using the restaurant. We weren't going to eat there due to poor reviews for the...

Foyle Hospice recently held a conference at the Best Western White Horse Hotel (25/01/17).We have to acknowledge that the conference facilities at the hotel were excellent. All the staff were more than accommodating. Kimberley Madden-Treanor ensured all our needs were met. The delegates that attended the conference also commented that the food and refreshments were excellent. Thank you to the...

Very busy. But they still got us (8 people) within 20 mins. Food was ok. The fish was a little on soggy side but ......Ok. Service was pleasant. Although they did start clearing plates before everyone had finished, which is a pet hate of mine (makes the meal feel very rushed). An ok 3.

Having read previous reviews, I was a tad concerned but we were only staying for one night and at £60 for two of us for bed and breakfast in a cracking location, I thought I would give it a go. After booking online, I rang the hotel to ensure they had our booking and pointed out that I had read...
