Having driven through what appeared like the Blackpool Illuminations I was rather worried our accommodation would be similarly decked out with Christmas lights. Thankfully it wasn't (so no light pollution in bedroom) but did feel tastefully festive with baubles on the tree outside. The lady who greeted us was welcoming and they had made sure via a call before arrival...

Very nice and cosy country spot. We just spent 2 nights but very nice especially the breakfast in the nice "veranda". The room very quit and comfortable with a king size bed.. We had to change from the first room they gave us as the roof on the upper floor is low. The second room at the ground floor was...

Stayed one night for the first time here. I was welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. This was important to me as I was travelling on my own. The bedroom was so comfortable and clean. It was a cold evening and to my surprise there was a hot water bottle in the bed - heaven !! These little things...

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding reception. Very welcoming, extremely well run and well equipped rooms. Excellent breakfast, very clean. We travelled as two adults and had arranged a further room for our daughter who joined us for the second night. Would certainly recommend and stay here if needed a night for a flight from Stansted in...

Stayed here overnight before a flight from Stansted airport - we travelled as 3 adults and a 2 year old little girl. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming. It was a pity the weather was wet and we couldn't take advantage of the beautiful garden. Our room was well equipped and had tea and coffee making facilities with a...

Stayed here for one night. An extremely well run property with clean and well-equipped bedrooms. There was a good choice for breakfast accompanied by home made preserves. Would definitely return if in the area.

This is a really pleasant B&B. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are well decorated and furnished, and up to date. The bed was really comfy. The house is magnificent, and the garden very well looked after (pity the sun isn't out today). The food is good too. By any standard, this is a very good B&B,...

Don't normally stop in B&B's but didn't fancy any of the local hotels. The place was nice, staff pleasant really comfortable bed and good Internet. All in all everything you need, added to a freshly cooked breakfast I'd stop here again
