We stayed here overnight a couple of weeks ago. The room was lovely and the service and breakfast were great. A lovely traditional feel. I left my toiletry bag in the room and the owners very kindly posted it back to me. That was very kind and above and beyond!! thank you

We have this last weekend been with friends for an evening meal. We have not been for some time and shall now not go again. We ordered four starters. The Moroccan lamb cakes were dry and there was a distinct lack of lamb. My main course of sea bass fillets were awful and this was pointed out to the waitress.... More

An excellent country pub just of junction 16 of the M5. A very pleasing looking country pub, both inside and out the inn is pleasing to the eye.The dining areas are in the bar, a side restaurant and an Al Fresco outside dining area. The accommodation is very well presented with good decoration and a good bath room.

We went to The Bowl as a family of 5, nice looking pub reasonably busy but not crowded... We opted to sit of the back terrace(could do with some sun umbrellas, or proper tables under the canopy?) that said the space was great! The children ordered off the children's menu all good choice for a very good price, the adults... More

Normally a big fan of the Bowl but to served cold soup only to be given exactly same plate reheated with nibbled bread ! is not good etiquette. Then manager to busy to discuss suggests standards may have slipped since last visit .................

We stayed as a family for 2 nights - Celia and the team were very pleasant and welcoming, and had an enjoyable stay. Food service runs until 9.30 which is good for guests arriving late, and there were no complaints about any of the food. Breakfast the first morning was a little hit and miss, as we had some items... I have now stayed at The Bowl Inn on several occasions for business and have found it to be superb on every occasion. The staff are always extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are all very tastefully decorated and kept to a high standard of housekeeping. There is always a very good selection of ales on the bar and the... More

Stayed here one night. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was excellent and the church bells were a added bonus. Food was excellent and reasonable priced. Staff were pleasant and woke up relaxed. Lovely stay.
