Have been here a few times now & it never disappoints. The reason is experienced staff, great surroundings & amazing food. Highly recommend for all occasions.Family & friends have been here also & love the place.

What a beautiful place to stay. Only good things to say. Lovely, cosy, character rooms. Friendly and helpful staff and GREAT FOOD!! Lovely location and lots of restaurants and the whole of Kent at your doorstop!

We stayed and dined here for a family occasion. We were met by Steffano (I hope I spelled that correctly), the owner, and shown to our pre booked room. There are only five rooms, and we had the one in the main part of the 400 year old building, with double bed and shower. There are a few niggles, but... More

Room was fantastic, stayed in room 3 the four poster, the room is well kept and nicely furnished, the bathroom has a nice big bath, the shower is a little fiddly not been wall mounted, but then if your relaxing and in no rush, why take a shower. The staff are great and make you feel at home every step... More

We have just made our 3rd visit to The Wife of Bath and this time we stayed in the four poster room. We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted by Stefano who showed us to our beautiful room. The only thing that I have to say about this place is definitely don't waste your time in visiting it! We were very disappointed with the whole entire experience after being recommended to this establishment . Very disappointed with the room on arrival having found the last visitors rubbish left in the closet..on reporting it to a member of staff... More

When a review is given a personal outlook on requirements is given. For me I had an amazing lunch with my friend. I also prefer a fine dining experience which I received here. Just stayed overnight for B&B. Cosy and quaint accommodation. Made to feel extremely welcome on arrival. Breakfast was magnificent - freshly squeezed orange juice, proper coffee and home-made sausages that would win awards. Will return for more.

Stayed here several years ago prior to France trip and decided to try it again. Now under new ownership but the standards have been maintained. Since our last visit the restaurant has closed, changed hands, and re-opened. That made for a hesitant revisit but as we so liked our first visit we went for it.
