Have been here a few times now & it never disappoints. The reason is experienced staff, great surroundings & amazing food. Highly recommend for all occasions.Family & friends have been here also & love the place.

We stayed and dined here for a family occasion. We were met by Steffano (I hope I spelled that correctly), the owner, and shown to our pre booked room. There are only five rooms, and we had the one in the main part of the 400 year old building, with double bed and shower. There are a few niggles, but... More

Room was fantastic, stayed in room 3 the four poster, the room is well kept and nicely furnished, the bathroom has a nice big bath, the shower is a little fiddly not been wall mounted, but then if your relaxing and in no rush, why take a shower. The staff are great and make you feel at home every step... More

We have just made our 3rd visit to The Wife of Bath and this time we stayed in the four poster room. We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted by Stefano who showed us to our beautiful room. It was stunning, warm and cosy with beautiful decor and the most comfortable bed - enabling us to have a great nights... More

The only thing that I have to say about this place is definitely don't waste your time in visiting it! We were very disappointed with the whole entire experience after being recommended to this establishment . Very disappointed with the room on arrival having found the last visitors rubbish left in the closet..on reporting it to a member of staff... More

When a review is given a personal outlook on requirements is given. For me I had an amazing lunch with my friend. I also prefer a fine dining experience which I received here. The reception we received was five star and Stefano could not do enough for us. We were recommended some of the finest wines and had a super... More

Just stayed overnight for B&B. Cosy and quaint accommodation. Made to feel extremely welcome on arrival. Breakfast was magnificent - freshly squeezed orange juice, proper coffee and home-made sausages that would win awards. Will return for more.

Stayed here several years ago prior to France trip and decided to try it again. Now under new ownership but the standards have been maintained. Our room was a four poster with bottled water, Tea and a Cafetiere as well. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and we were advised that a new chef would be joining soon who is... More

Since our last visit the restaurant has closed, changed hands, and re-opened. That made for a hesitant revisit but as we so liked our first visit we went for it. Stefano replied quickly to my enquiry for a reservation, by email, and we were booked in. The visit was for a week-end course nearby and a relaxing meal on Saturday... More
