We have stayed in many Hotels, B & B's and Guest Houses over the years and I am sure most will agree the first and perhaps the only nights stay can be a long one! Strange noises, bed uncomfortable etc. However, the Beechwood is so comfy - the beds are so comfy, the ambience makes you feel so comfy! The... More

Have stayed at several guest houses/ hotels in this area over the past few years, Standards vary, but so do prices. After visiting Beechwood I would stay that if everywhere else is full and you are desperate then this is the place for you. Very poor value for money.

The hosts are very friendly and made us feel most welcome, however, the place needs updating and looks very tired even from the outside. We had problems with the shower, either scalding hot or cold! When I tried to wash my hair over the basin the water was cold! The rooms were very basic and needed a 'makeover', the bathroom was... More

Stays here to visit the Lincoln Christmas market. The decor was very very tired. We have nail clippings on the floor. The shower was dirty and moldy. The breakfast was average, on menu choice of fruit juices but you just got orange juice already in a glass. The toast was just a standard thin slice.wasnt given the choice of white... More

Perfect location for our trip. Three of us shared an ensuite twin room with an extra bed supplied. All good fun and we coped. Additional bathroom available off landing. Family very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Everything was clean & towels provided. Parking in grounds with additional street parking if needed.

I have stayed here many times, and must say the service has always been extremely good. The rooms, most of which i have stayed in are clean and comfortable. dont know why the moaners are so negitive, to stay there is not expensive, the breakfasts are good, and overall a good place to stay when you are in the area.

Myself and my family recently stayed at Beechwood Guesthouse. We went for the horse racing on Boxing Day. Please ignore Bad reviews its a lovely little guesthouse. Agreed a little dated but John the propriortor is thinking of refurbing the place. Fantasticly placed especially for the Racecourse which is a nice 10 mins walk as is the town centre. We... More

Beechwood Guest House is somewhere where I have stayed before. On one occasion, to be precise. Last time I found it to be an enjoyable experience, with a great welcome, and an even better breakfast. This time, the only welcome after an eight hour drive up from the south west, was the welcome sign be the front door. Yes I... More

The hotel is adequate. Stunning from outside but a little tired inside the room we were in. Family room is a put up camp bed for the child. Which made it impossibly cramped. It was a real struggle with 3 people inside. The beds are very comfy. Floors a bit sticky in bathroom. One toilet roll for 3 people over... More
