Had a very bried stay at the Red Lion. No complaints. The layout is a little different than expected - the rooms are situated exterior to the actual pub itself. No problem, of course, but it's something to note. The room was modern and clean, and had adequate space for storage. The en suite (private) was large enough for two... More

This might have just about been OK for a single male traveller on business, but it fell short of what I'd expect for a couple on a leisure trip, and even at £63 per night (including breakfast) for a double room, it seemed like poor value in comparison to the other places we stayed in the region. Market Rasen also... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights in room 1. I arrived early in the afternoon and decided to see if I could store my bags at the reception. The owner happened to be cleaning the rooms and immediately offered me to put my luggage in my room, and gave me instructions for the keybox, even though I was... More

Rooms in a converted stable, very comfortable, clean with everything you need for a few nights stay. Show very powerful and piping hot water, wet rooms not to everyone's taste perhaps but fine for me. Staff couldn't be more helpful, away from the road so 2 nights undisturbed rest in a really comfortable bed. Good value for money and I... More

Can't fault this pub for great value! Nice clean stable like rooms, clean comfortable bed with nice facilities and spare pillows in sealed bags , nice touch.only downside do something about the blinds no privacy, especially if women are in the room. Staff were very helpful and friendly evening meal could be better, starter had some salad garnish which was very... More

There are five accommodation units to the rear of "The Red Lion". Their doors open on to the car park. I was allocated Room 2. It was clean and well-presented with a comfortable bed but there was nowhere to sit apart from on the bed which would be a particular problem for guests with back trouble. There was a little... Stayed at the Red Lion for four nights recently. I had a lovely stay. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were very good. Had dinner in the restaurant one night, with family. We all said what a lovely meal it was. Considering there is a busy road close by, it was very quiet overall. The bed... More
