We took over the whole establishment. The seniors had comfortable roomy accommodation in the house. Our children and grandchildren occupied the Eco cabins. The food was really great. We had the perfect playground for children. - boat, play area, animals. We had the best family holiday ever

The owners have made every effort to include eco friendly technology in the impressive refurbishment of this listed farm house. The public rooms are tastefully furnished as are the bedrooms which are all ensuite. There is a shepherd 's hut, yurts and a vintage caravan in the grounds and it's lovely to be surrounded by a variety of animals, cats,... More

We rented an Eco Hut for a couple of nights and absolutely loved it. The whole placed is so relaxed and the couple that own and run it are lovely. This was our first try at glamping and we will definitely go again. I'd also recommend paying the extra for the breakfast which is made to order and stunning. The... More

Had two nights here while visiting family nearby and was pleasantly surprised. Pictures do it no justice. The owners could not do enough to make us feel welcome with cups of tea anytime of day! Kids loved the climbing wall patrick was building and the swings and gorgeous natured dog and cats wandering around. Was unusually cold in June! Patrick... More

We've just spent a few days here, it's beautiful stunning buildings are full of character, there are ducks, goats, chickens, geese, cats & a dog to make you feel welcome. Patrick & Glenys are the perfect hosts, so friendly, which helps to make your stay so special, nothing is too much trouble. We love the relaxed atmosphere and freedom to... More

We had a lovely, large room, en suite. A very comfortable bed and loads of hot water. Hot drinks were offered immediately, very welcome after a long drive. Patrick and Glenys are a lovely couple, fully committed to thier project and the restoration of the farmhouse has been a success. The breakfast menu was great, all cooked to perfection, with... This was my second visit to Kingthorpe Manor. This time as a destination rather than passing through as part of a longer trip away. We stayed in the main house. Everything was as I remembered it. Warm, comfortable, very peaceful and welcoming.

On arrival we were greeted warmly by our hosts who showed us round and shared their home with us. Outstanding service and would recommend without hesitation. The property has been renovated to the highest of standards and can't wait to visit again. We stayed in the main house, however would love to stay in either the Eco huts or the... More

We arrived and were shown to our beautiful double room and offered a hot drink. The house is full of character and charm from the sloping floors to the quirky artifacts. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and we had chance to look around the small holding before we reluctantly had to leave the following morning.

I stayed overnight as part of a round Britain motorcycle trip. Everything about my stay was top notch. The setting, my room, the welcome all contributed to an experience that only convinces me I woul like to return for a longer stay.
