We booked here for a night of recovery, after a friend's party near by, we were welcomed by Gemma, who was lovely and saw to our every need. We missed dinner, but had a choice of the smaller bar menu, which was exactly what we were after. The room was lovely and cosy and it had the best walk in...

Pub / Hotel is in a small village about 5 miles outside of Settle. We were met at reception by the owner who was very friendly and helpful and showed us to our room. Room was clean and well equipped. Room was quiet even though there was a party in the hotel. Plenty of on site parking.

We had a really lovely experience here. First the team were really helpful and friendly and could not do enough to for us. The building itself is 'Olde Worlde' and has some amazing features - including blazing fires to keep you warm. This was only outmatched by the warm welcome we received. The evening meal was outstanding and the only...

Gemma was amazing! I can honestly say I haven't experience customer service like that in a very long time. Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. Even managing to get a left behind wedding gift up to the venue... amazing! The whole place is...

We stayed here for one night after climbing Pen-y-Ghent. The room was large and clean and the restaurant and bar areas were beautiful. Two open fires were alight and Gemma made sure they kept that way. Service and comfort were brilliant. The evening meal and the breakfast were fantastic. We would definitely stay again.
