I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed last night on no notice arriving at 10.15 due to a very unpleasant incident earlier in the evening, were treated brilliantly and were in a large family room within five minutes, the staff were friendly and courteous and very easygoing. The room itself was a spacious, clean and smart room, obviously well maintained, the bed... More

Called in for a quick lunch stop. Good selection of beer on hand pump and went for a ham & mustard sandwich. Lovely thick slices of ham and thick cut crusty bread, complemented by crisps and salad. Kept me going till late evening!

The place looks really good from the outside think they've spent a lot of money on it. Right next to Washford station on the West Somerset steam railway. We had a carvery. Nice and hot plenty of veg. You could have pork and or beef would have been nice if there was some chicken or turkey on offer too. Nothing... More

Wow what a pleasant surprise. We have Just had a pit stop here and had an amazing lunch. Never had such a lovely sandwich out. The bread was fresh and amazing and the bacon cooked to perfection, the trimmings were great too. Gorgeous coffees and very pleasant helpful staff. Definitely one of the best places I've stopped.
