Went here to meet with friends and family. Whilst off the beaten track and still a village pub which would make most envious, this little pub/B&B is very welcoming and the food service and quality is fab. Definitely recommend. Do not be put off by location. It's not that far from Taunton and worth the expense of a taxi back...

Arrived just in time for dinner and a table had been booked by owner for us in case we wanted to eat and we enjoyed a good meal. The pub/dining rooms were comfortable and inviting. Bedroom pleasant and peaceful and we had a good nights sleep. En suite functional. This is an old building and the new owners are improving...

Six of us stayed for one night. Really good value, the room was very spacious with a lovely big corner bath. The owners couldn't of made us feel more welcome. Fresh smelling towels made a nice change to the plain smelling hotel ones. The breakfast was hearty and a good choice. Would recommend

Lovely village location. A lovely welcome, un rushed service which was great. A wonderful Sunday lunch although the roasties could have been crispier, tasty reheated. Good value. Would definitely return.

We were visiting local friends and needed dinner so booked an early table at The Hatch. The staff were friendly and attentive. I am always cheered by a relatively small menu as that indicates fresh food and proper cooking. They offered pub food or a dinner menu. Between us we tried both. The chicken burger and pie off the pub...

We stayed at Frog Street Bed and Breakfast for two nights and this pub was one of the recommendations made by our host David...and boy did the food surpass our expectations! We thought it would be a traditional country pub in a small village serving standard pub fayre - how wrong were we! The food served was as good as...

We were looking for an overnight stay and saw that this place was getting many positive reviews lately - the new proprietors of Oct 2015 seem to have done a great job. We had a lovely spacious room with a view across to the Blackdown Hills and we slept very well on a comfy bed. We greatly enjoyed both our...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming pub in the heart of Somerset. We're a family run pub that have always had a passion for hospitality throughout our careers, as a family we've always dreamt of bringing a pub to life. The Hatch Inn is that pub, we poured our hearts and souls into a refurbishment back in October 2015 and now with a pub full of rustic charm our dream has become reality. We now strive to serve quality food whilst creating an atmosphere that will have you coming back for more. That's enough about us... what about the pub... The Hatch Inn is an 18th century coaching Inn set in the picturesque Somerset countryside at Hatch Beauchamp just 10 minutes from Taunton. The M5 is just 5 minutes away providing easy links to Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Beyond. Guests can enjoy a cosy and relaxed evening by real log fires in the lounge or enjoy a drink with our locals at the village bar and in the warmer months relax on our spacious patio. ... more   less
