Stayed one night en route to Cornwall. Tidy, homely, well cared for, what more could you want? Well, good beer, good food and the stay was complete. This is a smashing local pub, well run, good local atmosphere, we had a great time! Even managed to get a smile out of Tony! (Only joking, he is a great host!!)

We came across this little Gem on our way back from Cornwall. The food was fantastic, excellent children's menu, the owners made us feel very welcome, including our pooch. Excellent place to stop with children and dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful selection of regional beers and food. Looked after by the friendly staff whilst celebrating a friends half century. Bright, clean airy rooms, great time, lots of space inside, good sized car park outside, easy access from M5 J25, about 10 minutes.

Fabulous food with very plentiful servings; you will not go hungry here. Lots of locally sourced ingredients make the menu full of tough decisions. The locally produced ice-cream is to die for and the potted crab starter was delicious. The pub has comfortable sofas and has been very nicely done up. Friendly staff and good beers make for a pleasant atmosphere....

We were brilliantly looked after, during our stay to celebrate a family birthday. The bedrooms were clean and bright and the friendly pub and restaurant had a great selection of regional food and drinks. The local 'champagne' was a real hit, just sorry we didn't get to try out the skittle alley!

A great little pub and restaurant. Food reasonably priced and nice menu. Nicely done up, friendly staff. We went in the evening - I had an unusual but very nice lamb shank rogan josh, my duaghter had a chicken burger which she described as the best she had ever had. Momentous desserts too.

After driving about the area for at least a half hour to find a lunch venue, and discovering only one pub that turned out to be closed, it was with considerable relief we came upon the Hatch Inn at Beauchamp. We were at once made to feel welcome and, when seated by their log fire, were totally satisfied with the...

This is a real gem. A country pub that has been given a lot of love by the owners. It has a great balance as a locals' pub (with skittles and darts teams), a superb restaurant with a great choice of food, and a 4 star bed and breakfast with really spacious rooms. The pub trade in England is challenging...

Went here to meet with friends and family. Whilst off the beaten track and still a village pub which would make most envious, this little pub/B&B is very welcoming and the food service and quality is fab. Definitely recommend. Do not be put off by location. It's not that far from Taunton and worth the expense of a taxi back...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming pub in the heart of Somerset. We're a family run pub that have always had a passion for hospitality throughout our careers, as a family we've always dreamt of bringing a pub to life. The Hatch Inn is that pub, we poured our hearts and souls into a refurbishment back in October 2015 and now with a pub full of rustic charm our dream has become reality. We now strive to serve quality food whilst creating an atmosphere that will have you coming back for more. That's enough about us... what about the pub... The Hatch Inn is an 18th century coaching Inn set in the picturesque Somerset countryside at Hatch Beauchamp just 10 minutes from Taunton. The M5 is just 5 minutes away providing easy links to Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Beyond. Guests can enjoy a cosy and relaxed evening by real log fires in the lounge or enjoy a drink with our locals at the village bar and in the warmer months relax on our spacious patio. ... more   less
