Just got back after a wonderful stay at patshull. We have been many times for short breaks and love it even more each time! 4 generations of family all together to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday! Weather was dreadful thanks to storm Dennis but inside was warm, cosy and welcoming. We love the swimming pool best of all just a shame that children can't go in there during weekdays till 11am which means that on the last day we couldn't go for a last swim which disappointed my daughter. Perhaps management should review this during half terms because there was literally 1 person in the pool when we left at 10am! Hope to be back again at Easter ..till next time..
We enjoyed a well cooked and well presented Valentine’s dinner last night, complemented with the hotel’s recommended Sauvignon Blanc. The restaurant room lacked atmosphere but the service was attentive and the experience was enjoyed overall. Special thank you to the pianist who helped to make the evening
Stayed midweek whilst in the area for work, and got a very reasonable rate which included breakfast. Room was clean and well equipped with trouser press, iron and ironing board, tea / coffee / hot chocolate sachets with kettle and TV. Had free use of the on site gym, pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, all of which were clean and in good working order. Good quality breakfast with cooked and Continental options available on a help yourself set up in main dining area. Overall a very pleasant stay, and a place I would happily stay again should in be in the area.
Stayed one night for a business trip. Used gym and pool - good facilities. Bed was very comfortable and locaion very peaceful by the stunning lake. The decor is a little datesd, especailly the carpet in the corridors, and the potholes in the road are terrible, but the staff were lovely and I would use the hotel again.
We had a wonderful evening celebrating New Year’s Eve, a perfect start to the new decade. A welcome drink was served on arrival, which we were able to enjoy in the comfortable bar area, which has several sofas before being taken through to our table. We have toasted the New Year here for the last three years and once again the food did not disappoint. The choice of both hot and cold dishes on the Gala Buffet was extensive, beautifully presented and very enjoyable. Liam Price provided the live entertainment putting everyone in the party mood. He is super talented and definitely appeared to appeal to everyone in the room who shouted for more. The DJ continued to keep everyone on their feet right up until 2:00. We left feeling very tired and very happy. Special thanks to Jo Guest for arranging another super celebration and to all the staff who worked so hard that evening.…
