We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea today, a mother and daughter date. We were welcomed on arrival by our fantastic waiter Maz, he was so friendly and really looked after us, even making sure we had a picture with our freshly served afternoon tea stand. We will absolutely be returning again. Thank you Maz for making our afternoon tea even better with your brilliant customer service!

My friend and I were celebrating a big birthday at Hogarths for afternoon tea, we could not have been treated any better, very attentive staff, food was explained in detail and was absolutely delicious, no pressure to leave, totally relaxing and perfect experience.

Last week I had a surprise 60th birthday celebration at Hogarths, they did everything to give me the most wonderful time. From the moment Sophie welcomed us to when we bade farewell to head barman John we were all made to feel special. The Music Room was beautifully laid out with a door to a terrace that had seating and umbrellas overlooking a lawn and trees in the distance. The table was set lovely and the food was absolutely fantastic, the medium rare beef was cooked to perfection. Staff were fabulously attentive without being intrusive and then I was honoured by 12 or so of them singing Happy Birthday as a cake was brought. Made me feel very special. After the meal we carried on chatting and having drinks in the room before going out to one of the large huts on the lawn. This was a fabulous way to spend our evening as they were so comfortable with great heaters. Again, the staff visited us regularly to see if we wanted drinks or anything else and as it approached 11 and people drifted off we popped inside for a nightcap. What a fantastic venue and what a wonderful team of staff, all appeared happy and couldn't do enough to ensure my 'big' day was such a great one. Thank you Sophie for making this all happen, think I'll provisionally book my 70th !

An awful experience - despite notifying of specific dietary requirements by e-mail for afternoon tea and confirming with a phone call in advance and on arrival - - the VEGETARIAN in my party was served MEAT AND FISH. Fortunately we spotted this before tucking in, but the plate was replaced by 3 cucumber sandwiches and a tomato sandwich - not terribly appetising / not great variety! - the GLUTEN FREE person was given something containing gluten and has been VIOLENTLY ILL since!!!! And it took forever to get served - I wouldn’t have minded the wait if the food was then correct (although I might have expected them to be ready for the requirements given the previous notification), but to spend so long and then get it so badly wrong is inexcusable! It completely ruined a family celebration

Lovely setting. Grounds are very nice. Evening meal, whilst certainly not cheap, was delicious. Breakfast (ordered from menu) was small but delicious. Had to ask for and wait for coffee, milk, butter - each time told it should be on the table, when it wasn't - but if thats the biggest problems there are you're doing well! Mass catered event lunch was mostly not to my taste but very popular. All staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Afternoon Tea at this hotel is superb! A member of staff called Maz looked after us from the moment we arrived. Such a genuine nice, happy and enthusiastic member of staff, he deserves a medal for his customer service skills, he really made my 6 year nephew feel welcome. Perfect setting, we sat outside as the weather was glorious, the food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble after asking to swap the salmon filling sandwich for something else. Would highly recommend.

My husband organised a surprise 60th birthday dinner for me, the hotel as usual, lived up to our expectations, staff were brilliant, including Natasha who co-ordinated the dinner and the food was great! We also got married here in 2014 and our daughter gets married here next year, always a firm favourite with us all.

Very nice place, however when we checked in we were told breakfast was included in the price, so the following morning we ate breakfast and were charged for it when we checked out. Probably a mistake, but possibly a means to extract an extra £30 from unsuspecting guests.

We had a room booked for 14 people. The staff were friendly, attentive but without being intrusive. Room opened out onto a terrace which was perfect for the fine weather conditions. Food was of a high standard with amply portions for all. Children's menu was excellent and the hotel is dog friendly. All well planned and executed by Natasha and the team.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Hogarths Solihull where complimentary stay for 6 of us with dinner and breakfast were included due to some issues at our wedding last year because of a flood. We were all treated to some welcome back chocolates and they even put a bottle of Prosecco in our room. The decor is lovely and the staff were amazing. We all had a wonderful time so thanks to the team there for making our stay so special. Beautiful hotel and lovely to return to see the hotel and rooms open again after our wedding last August.
