I have visited this establishment several times over the last 10 years. Its latest reincarnation left me a little uninspired. We arrived around about 6pm. fairly quickly we were shown to a nice table for 2 near a window. To my delight the radiator was on. Although it is the middle of April , it was a cold but dry...

My husband and me visited the Inn Keepers lodge 8th April because we were seeing a show at the NEC the following day. The staff were lovely very helpful. The room was delightful and very clean. We would have no problem recommending this lodge for a stay. The surrounding area is also very pleasing.

The Service at the bar was excellent, which could not be said for the table service. The same waitress walked past our table 6 times and saw the empty food crockery but could not be bothered to remove it even though she was on her way back to the kitchen. Then a waiter walked past us twice and did the...

Being in close proximity to the NEC means getting a room can be a bitnof a lottery. If there's any event on at all, most hotel rooms within 20 miles are all booked out. This is the first time I have been to this particular place, and I shan't be back if I can avoid it. Room was overpriced for...

booked for dinner, ordered food, food arrived, it was lovely. However, as soon as the knife was down (my guest was still finishing their dinner) the waitress came to take the plates, arrived back immediately with the sweet menu. Came back in a couple of minutes and we ordered tea. The tea arrived, we got a few minutes to have...

It was almost completely full but my friend and I found a low table behind the speaker. The only other table was right in front of it and this place is LOUD. I wouldn't come back because of it. I had a cocktail. Cheap and pleasant but not great. My battered halloumi was soggy and the chips burnt. Fine if...

I hate giving bad reviews but really guys you can and should be better than this. Ive stayed and reviewed before and since then this place seems to be on the decline. Looking even more shabby, poor and apparently disorganised service. Food was passable but no more than that. Rooms tired (As stated before). Breakfast a joke. Couldn't get a...

Maybe Valentines night wasn't a good night to go but we'd heard good reviews and had wanted to go for a while. The atmosphere is nice and the overall feel is clean and cozy. It didn't seem busy. However, the food was disappointing and the service wasn't great. It was a set 3 course menu for £29.99pp including a glass...

Our party of 16 arrived at this restaurant for a meal to celebrate a family special occasion, I ordered BEER-BATTERED LINE-CAUGHT COD with twice-cooked chunky chips, minted pea purée and tartare sauce @ £11.95 as did another member of our party, well I can safely say it was easily the worst meal I have ever been provided with, I would...
