Taken there for my birthday, and really enjoyed it. Spa and swimming pool are wonderful. Room was usual country chintz, but nice. Garden room would have been even better in the summer. Special tasting meal at their main restaurant. Not cutting edge, but better for it. There wasn't a single naff course amongst the selection. Very professionally done. Dining room...

My wife treated me to a weekend spa break at Lucknam Park just before Christmas and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Hospitality was great and the food in The Park restaurant was excellent as you would expect. Great pool and spa facilities and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We travelled here to celebrate a recent birthday. Although we only spent one night in the hotel, we had a lovely time and our meal at the hotel's Michelin star restaurant was impeccable and service could not be faulted. I would highly recommend this hotel. However one of the rooms which we were staying in overlooked a rather dirty air...

We travelled to the UK for Christmas and booked the three-night Christmas package at Lucknam Park Hotel for our family of six (all adults). Having never stayed at the hotel before we weren't quite sure what to expect however I can say that it was one of the most wonderful experiences we have ever had. Exquisitely English we felt as...

I took a very dear elderly friend here and we were so impressed and happy with the food, service and atmosphere. It was so wonderful to be received by the restaurant staff in such a warm way. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt special and important. I know that's a strange analogy but it was so lovely to...

We spent a weekend at this beautiful Relais & Chateaux property which is located one hour from central London and immersed in a huge park. The hotel is decorated in a classical taste and they had gorgeous Christmas decorations all over the place which made it even more charming. We had a beautiful large suite called Lilac Suite (highly recommended)...

Stayed for three days and had a lovely time, the spa is fantastic and service is good. There aren't many hotels run in such a traditional manner so it feels rather formal which adds to the grandeur. Spa and treatments were excellent as was the main restaurant. Only four stars as it was very expensive compared to other places visited.

Don't know where to start. Last minute our plans changed and we needed to bring our dog. He was catered for like a prince. All he needed was already in the room. They missed nothing. The room was fantastic with no signs of previous dogs. We stayed in the snowdrop. The food in the Brassiere was excellent. Our evening meal...

After being at this lovely location for 36 hours, I think my wife summed it up best when she asked "Is this 4* or 5*?". That's the point nailed on the head in my opinion. It is so close to a 5* but it misses out by getting details wrong - which is the difference between a stress-free stay and...

Stayed for a couple of nights midweek on a work course and found the service, facilities and food to be 5 star. Beautiful location in extensive grounds and the house itself is a superbly well maintained stately home. I imagine the prices are high but they generally deliver on all aspects, from the quality of the rooms and the food...
