Stayed for two nights. Visited the Spa for treatments. Spa was excellent and very relaxing indeed. Hotel was very quiet. Fine dining restaurant was empty apart from us and one other table of two - it's a huge room. No atmosphere and very quiet in both bar and restaurant which made you feel you had to whisper - some background... More

One of the most relaxing weekends of our lives! The visit started with a beautifully long driveway lined with towering trees and a very friendly reception team. It then continued with bike riding, lounging by the pool, roaming the grounds on horse back, and eating at a fantastic restaurant. The room itself was fantastic, complete with huge four-poster bed, a... More

We turned up without a reservation and although there was a private party in the library and lounge we easily found a seat in the brasserie. Our service was delivered with an air of relaxed professionalism. I was there with two other friends and our waiter; Stephen (Steven) was funny, helpful and knowledgeable of what was on offer and what... More

After hearing good reviews about this place we said we would have a special treat. We were very disappointed. I had to dust crumbs from my chair before I could sit down. Dispute not wanting water to drink, the waiter kept hovering over us trying to top up our glass...could he not see we weren't drinking it and he couldn't... More

Wonderful location with excellent and attentive service. Peaceful surroundings. Rooms are large and well furnished, but not air conditioned (fan is provided). Restaurant is excellent and does deserve Michelin recognition. Hotel is country setting is beautiful and the area is great for sightseeing. Spa is a feature but not outstanding.

Incredible property and very good menu on par with the Michelin standard. The main restaurant is a bit depressing . Staff looks like they are under permanent threat. Brasserie is much more exiting even if I think it is very expensive. Overpriced

We were lucky enough to stay here for the weekend as part of a large group. We had the most fabulous time and everything was perfect. The rooms in the main hotel were lovely with very comfortable, large 4 poster beds. The service everywhere was very attentive but friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, a... More

We came here for bank holiday weekend to escape Carnival chaos and have a relaxed time before we had our baby. A babymoon! We have stayed at Lucknam Park once before they redid the Spa area. The hotel and grounds are just beautiful and the ambiance is very old school British with lovely staff at the front desk who are... More

We returned again to Lucknam Park for 4 nights this August. It was another fabulous stay. The location, staff, facilities, food and room were all superb. We look forward to returning as it is fast becoming one of my favourite hotels in the world. A special thank you goes to the hotel for posting my wife's sunglasses on to her... More
