We had a night here in the suite, and the view across to the bridge over the river and its meadows is just lovely. The room was well-appointed and the two bathrooms a definite bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner was just excellent - probably the best we've had in Yorkshire hotels. Fresh starters, succulent lamb and really... More

Had another terrific stay at The Devonshire Fell - this time for a birthday surprise. Great team running everything and the room (a suite with stunning view over river and the Dale) was spacious and immaculate. Food was good quality and local in the main. I've booked for business and pleasure and we will probably book again at some juncture... More

Stunning location for my daughters wedding. The staff looked after us so well, making sure the wedding ran smoothly, paying attention to all details and my daughters wishes. Helen ensured we had a fantastic time and our guests were well catered for,, her experience was very evident, anything we asked the answer was 'yes'. The children were particularly welcomed with... Booked a table for four in the conservatory, as we had our labrador with us. The views are amazing as was the food. Three of us chose from the main dinner menu and the other from the Bar menu. We were all pleased with our meals, which were all presented beautifully. With dog or not I personally feel, to sit... More

Booked in just for one night on a B&B deal mid-week. We could take our labrador for a small extra charge. We had dinner which was very reasonably priced. The room was a little cramped but very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Two lovely nights in Burnsall, a great location from which to explore the Dales. Much better than its sister hotel at Pilsley in the Peak District. Would happily recommend to anyone. The WA to Grassington is a delight.

We spent two days here recently on a 2 day dinner, bed and breakfast package. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and we had a room overlooking the fell. The room was well equipped and bed very comfortable. The only problem was it was too hot and no real means of cooling down the room - there was a... More

We stayed at the Devonshire Fell for a couple of nights for a friends wedding. We stayed with two small kids. From the outset having made a couple of enquiries before arrival and the staff were hugely friendly and helpful. They were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was comfortable and the rooms spacious. The bed was very... More

We spent a wonderful weekend in this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. We had a lovely room with a view over the Fells. The service was fabulous throughout out stay and the food in the restaurant was superb. An absolute star of a hotel.
