We enjoyed our stay at this hotel which is nestled in beautiful countryside . The room was large, clean & comfortable. If you want a room with a view request a garden room as the village rooms overlook the car park. We enjoyed a lovely stroll along the side of the river accessed by the side of the Red Lion... More

I've just returned from spending two nights at The Devonshire Fell with my boyfriend who treated us. We opted for the dinner, bed and breakfast package and stayed in a Classic Double room, and received a complimentary upgrade to that room after originally requesting the petite double room. A lady named Kelly assisted us on the phone with our booking... More

Went for a mini break - beautifully positioned hotel on a hillside overlooking the river. This is a sister hotel to the Devonshire Arms hotel down the road (you get access to their spa). A superb job has been done on the interiors - gives it a real country feel. Dinner and breakfast were first class. Room was good -... More

We stayed at The Devonshire Fell Hotel for a wedding close by, and it was an amazing place to stay! The staff was beyond helpful, the location was stunning, and the food was delicious too. The hotel itself was very quaint and beautifully decorated. We hope to visit again, and would highly recommend The Devonshire Fell to anyone looking for... More

Having been unable to get a room in the sister hotel, The Devonshire Arms in Bolton Abbey, we decided to treat ourselves to the best that this hotel has to offer and booked The Dales Experience in a suite. Still only a fraction of the price of the Arms and included 2 nights B&B, luxurious afternoon tea, 5-course tasting menu... More

I have to say the welcome we received from all the staff working Sunday was exceptional. Lovely friendly professional and I altered my lunch to my requirements and it was no trouble at all. My husband had the fish and chips which was plentiful and I had the ceasar salad, I would have prefered a little more but it was... More

Lovely character-full hotel in delightful setting in the Dales. Very comfortable room, terrific food, excellent service. All the staff, particularly Helen, were helpful and polite, the dinner we had one night was the best meal we had on our trip, and the breakfasts were first-class. The bar is a nice place to while away some time as well! We aso... More

Before I start this review, there was nothing much wrong with our stay, the hotel or its staff, but as to whether it was value for money...well, here, I'd disagree. Though in line with the other hotels/venues within the Bolton Abbey estate, price-wise, I think the whole area and business thinks it's delivering a better experience for the recompense it... More

Went here for a couple of nights with friends, one of whom had stayed at the other Devonshire hotel nearby. Lovely room ( we had the suite), fabulous food ( passion fruit tart was seriously good) and very helpful and friendly staff. We had afternoon tea in the summer house which was a lovely touch. I've only given it 4... More

We booked a (Dog Friendly) suite for the weekend. Room was nice and spacious. 2 bathrooms was a nice touch if a little unnecessary. Staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast was tasty. Would have liked to have a TV in the lounge area, and the decor probably needs a bit of a refresh. However it's a comfy spot to... More
