I suppose its a toss up which is the best hotel deserves to be considered. We were picked up from the railway station and driven in style by one of the hotels luxury cars (these were available throughout our stay if we wanted transported to and from hotel/railway station). The hotel is luxurious and you can tell as soon as...

Nice hotel facing the mountains and lake. View from many rooms. Rooms were roomy and had balconies. Showers were great. Beds nice with large comforter. Dinner - very nice. Great salad with wonderful dressing. Beef stroganoff was quite good. The profiterole dessert with chocolate inside was excellent! Short walk to stores and the lake!

My husband and I loved our sweet, clean, room with a view of lake and mountains with balcony. Dinner was most delicious on the Tour du Mont Blance. There's a wonderful bakery to buy lunch across the street. No need to transfer beginning of hike to Col de la Forclaz starts up the hill. I found a perfect locally made...

We stayed for 2 nights while hiking the TMB. Rooms are clean but old school and a bit dated. We had a balcony and bathtub which was nice. We also ate dinner here the 2 nights we stayed and food was good. Menu itself is a bit basic but at least while we were there the plat du jours were...

We had a tiny room in the clean hotel for one night along the Haute Route. No views, no charm, but a decent bed, dinner and breakfast. We checked in late in the afternoon and left early in the morning, which suited me just fine. I think you can do better!

Stayed at this hotel while hiking the haute route in August. Rooms were small but comfortable. There were only a couple outlets down low. Water was hot and plentiful. Attached restaurant was decent. Wifi was surprisingly robust and quick. One thing I didn't like was that the hallway was very dark and you had to turn the lights on. See...

We stayed one night in this hotel as part of our TMB trail. Reserved half board so we had dinner in the hotel resturant. When we got to dinner, we expected a standard hotel dinner. Well, we were surprised! Dinner was a real chef dinner, haute cuisine, a wonderful amazing dinner (see pictures). Room was excellent and so were the...

Stayed here after a long day on the TMB. The room was nice and the woman at reception was very helpful in telling us how to find a food store and putting our warm beers in a fridge to cool off. The breakfast was better than most with eggs in addition to the usual breads and cereals.

Expensive stop on TMB. Knew this when I booked it I suppose, but felt a little disappointed with the size of room and no tea or coffee facilities. Restaurant was nice with good enough service...Just felt underwhelmed with value for money.
