Our favourite accommodation of the TMB is situated right beside the trail. From our homely and clean triple room we had the most beautiful views. Definitely worth a two day stay here if you have time for two rest days on the TMB. Make sure you book the meal option here. Irene, the witty and charming proprietor, prepares the most...

I stayed one night at the Hotel Belvedere in Champex-Lac in September. In July, I had stayed across the road (which was unavailable in September) and found that I really enjoyed the Hotel Belvedere much more than the other establishment. The other Hotel was good, but Hotel Belvedere was better. I found it much more warm, comfortable, welcoming, and hospitable....

The Favre family welcomed us to their intimate lodge and directed us to our rooms, each one different and unique, with rustic décor, balconies with wonderful views and cozy bathrooms. Our dinner was raclette with potatoes, bread, salad, and a dessert of fruit in Kirsch. The host prepared the raclette in the dining room, while others served it to us....

We stayed here on our Tour de Mont Blanc. The lady who owns the place was a wonderful host, who couldn't do enough for us. We were travelling with our 10 yr old son and Irene (the lady owner) was so kind to him, cooked us all steak and chips, cooked to perfection. Lovely room with beautiful views. Breakfast was...

This hotel is away from the center of Champex en Lac and overlooks the valley below which means that it has some spectacular views. We stayed here while doing the Tour de Mont Blanc and this hotel had the best views. The breakfast was hearty and the hosts were friendly, going out of there way to make our journey smooth.

At first introduction, the hotel seems a bit rough and casual but it grew on my family. We had two rooms and had three different views. The rooms are pine paneled and clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The showers are small but the water is hot and the water pressure plentiful. The rooms are generously sized and include a...

This was a stop for us along the Tour du Mont Blanc! Absolute heaven. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the owners were a true delight! There were two amazing balconies in the room with fabulous views. The hotel was in a perfect location within the lovely town of Champex.

The owner greets you at the door with a great smile that sets the tone for the whole visit. Our room was tight but functional with a balcony towards the valley wth is view that lives up to the hotel's name. The fried perche dinner with fresh raspberry dessert was outstanding. Breakfast held good Swiss quality.

Stayed here while hiking the Alpine Pass Route. Spotless, recently refurbished and very comfortable rooms with great views over the valley. Very quiet. 10 minutes walk to the lake. Very friendly & helpful owners, even though we were the only guests that night. Great, filling dinner in the wonderful dining room and an amazing breakfast the next day. Hotel was...

The Hotel Belvedere in Champex is where we stayed while doing the TMB in July. Irene greeted us and showed us to our room. It was a cozy room with sweeping views of the distant mountains. We freshened up and took the short walk down into the center of the town. We walked around the lake, stopped at the information...
