If you are looking to escape the city and the stresses of life this is your place. First, the staff are incredible. I don't recall ever being on a first name basis with the owner, head chef and staff. If you book a room say hello to Knut, Nina and Chris for us. They are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about... More

Knowing this hotel from Ex Machina movie, we were curous and stayed here at pod no. 7 for one night in July 2016 just for the experience. It was all about nature, design and sustainable hospitality that offers total tranquility and relaxation. It may not be everyone's cup of tea though, especially those who are too used to the comfort... More

Amazing place, don't eat locally, eat in the hotel restaurant, perfect high quality local food and drinks, worth the expense. Also at breakfast, they give you advice on which hills/mountains to aim for based on local weather and experience - the snow line was falling as we were there. Make sure you save time for an apero in the hot... More

We were so looking forward to this two day stop on our trip, but on entering the room we were left cold by the level of basic facilities. Not even tea or coffee making facilities, no-where to hang clothes, no bathroom condiments (ie. shower gel, shampoo etc). If clothing was wet there was no-where to hang anything. The bathroom floor... More

To quote my wife, if you did good in life and ascended to heaven, that is what it would look like! Incredibly beautiful setting, unique design, awsome food. A couple of things to remember: 1. Reserve months in advance! Most summer weekends are booked for weddings. 2. Bring shampoo.

We were a Group of 8 People, on Our the "best of the west tour". Juvet lived up to Our expeectations. Clean, pure, real, Close to nature. The cabins have all folkus on the nature, and the big Windows gives you the feeling that you are as Close that you can come, still beeing inside. The Food was good, and... More

Juvet Landskapshotell was everything we had hoped for: set in the midst of the Norwegian farmland, our room was perched above the rapids (which we could hear as we slept). Small collection of unique rooms, with breakfast and dinner (extra) tended to by Erich and Nina. Knut comes at breakfast to advise each guest on his/her day's activities. It's a... More

Beautiful rooms with huge windows, where you can spend hours admiring the beautiful Norwegian landscape. Bathroom are very small, but I personally found them adequate. Best time to visiting, is in the late spring to autumn, where you will be able to do some great walks in the mountains surrounding the hotel. Communal spa and steam room with the best... More

Spent 4 nights here. Weather was great. The mountains were perfect. Excellent service. Room was simple and cleaned daily. Food was good. I had deer, reindeer, lamb, and beef. Dishes were made with fresh local ingredients. Family style eating made meeting people very easy. Breakfast and light afternoon snack were included as part of meals. Spa facility was nice. Well... You can travel to Norway just to stay at Juvet hotel. Few small houses where one wall is totally made of glass. There will be only you and nature. All rooms pre-booked for one year ahead, so try your luck and come here.
