Excellent choice if you want to stay overnight in Sliema. The room was large, comfortable and clean, and we took advantage of the paid breakfast in the neighboring hotel, with internal and external tables overlooking the sea, and with a decent variety of sweet and savory products, and sunbeds included in the price in the Aqualuna establishment, practically in front. It's a fairly crowded establishment on a platform with a swimming pool, but given that Sliema has practically no beaches it seemed like a good solution. At Aqualuna you can also have lunch, but I tried a Caesar salad one day and honestly for 16 euros it seemed a bit cheap, or have a drink after 7pm with the 2 for 1 option, which isn't bad.

Everything was perfect. Hotel is very cosy with helpful and very nice staff. I really recomend this accomodation. Rooms are exactly as beautifull as on photographs, breakfast was more than excellent for the price. We could not use all the pools because of short time we stayed, but it is perfect bonus for a holiday mood.

The hotel is located on a quiet street but is only 100 meters away from the waterfront and all the tourist and transportation facilities. It's an excellent location in Malta, with many nearby restaurants and easy access to boat excursions to Gozo and Comino. As a guest, you'll have free access to Aqualuna, a lovely private beach with a heated pool, a bar, and dining options, which was a highlight of my stay.
The room was modern, comfortable, bright, and super clean, with air conditioning that worked well. The breakfast at the nearby 115 The Strand Hotel was served on a terrace with an impressive view of the bay, and the fresh and good quality food included crumbled eggs, bacon, cheese, sausages, baked tomatoes, fresh vegetables, multiple side dishes, and a noteworthy fruit salad.
Lastly, the hotel personnel were all kind and helpful, and once again the service exceeded my expectations!

The Strand Suites is a quite new hotel with spacious rooms located conveniently just off the waterfront in Sliema, but very quiet away from the noisy evening restaurants. Staff are wonderfully helpful and rooms were clean. There is a small cafe in the hotel and arrangements for a buffet breakfast at their sister hotel around the corner. Highly recommended as it was a great place to come back to after our six days touring in Malta.

Really enjoyed our stay at Strand Suites, the room was amazing. Really clean and modern. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 2 minute walk down a side street from the main road but was still very quiet at night. In a great location for the main area of Sliema and Gzira.
Beds were very comfortable and the most comfortable pillows we've ever used!
The swimming pool is actually across the road and is used by several hotels who all give free access so it can get busy. They give you free towels but ran out by 3pm a couple of the days we went. The buffet style breakfast is also served in a different hotel, the 115 Strand Hotel but its only a short walk around the corner and has an amazing view of Gzira/Sliema if you manage to get a table out on the terrace. The staff at the 115 Hotel were also friendly.
There is a small cafe in the reception area of the hotel. You can easily get a bus to/from the airport using the Ponsonby bus stop 2 mins away. Buses X2 and TD2 which will cost €3 per person. We took the TD2 from the airport to Gzira and it took around an hour with the traffic. To go back to the airport the TD2 took around 30 minutes.

Stayed for the weekend and overall we were very impressed. The room was enormous, extremely clean, very quiet. Great amenities and nice touches to the design of the room.
The only issue that we faced was that my father who was staying in a separate room, was reallocated a room twice upon arrival. The first was a room untouched by housekeeping (yet to be cleaned) the second was a family room booked for someone else, finally he was given the correct room but this consequently added 1 hour delay to our holiday.
I would still recommend, location was great, bolt/ubers are ridiculously cheap if you’re travelling - especially in groups. We would stay again but hope for better room allocation and organisation upon arrival that’s all.

We booked the room for 3 nights. The room was so spacious and had a lot of nice Gadgets like an iron with iron board, tv where you can do screen share with your phone so you can easily watch Netflix etc, nice bed sheets and cushions. Very clean, every day we got fresh towels. The aqualuna pool is for free as hotel guest, which is amazing, you also get towels there if you did not bring any. Very Friendly stuff and the location is great as you can go everywhere from there. I would definitely book this hotel again!

The location is ideal because it is not so far from Valletta and the bus station is less than a minute away. There are lots of restaurants, bars and stores to shop from. Our room was cleaned everyday which was great. What's more is that the staff were super friendly and always willing to give info and help

A magnificent hotel... Perfect location for visiting Malta, an incredible view for lunch (very good buffet by the way), a sauna/jacuzzi/hammam area which deserves to be there and a swimming pool in front of the hotel which offers incredible views of Valletta. Honestly, if I return to Malta, I will return with great pleasure to this establishment. Buses nearby, boats nearby, restaurants and bars in abundance just outside the hotel,... And with a shuttle it is very easy to get to the airport for less than €10 per couple.
