Conveniently located a stone’s throw away form the Sliema Sea Front, Urban Rooms provides top quality accommodation in the centre of Malta, easily accessible by all public transport from across the island making it much easier for our guests to commute throughout their stay. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, entertainment, nightlife and regular ferries to Valletta. Urban Room’s 15 suites cater for couples, individuals and business travelers. All rooms are equipped to a high standard of interior design and amenities. Wi-Fi is also complementary in all rooms and public areas. Each room has a safe to secure your personal belongings, a flat screen TV as well as a telephone to contact reception and any other external numbers. Guests also have an empty mini bar to use in the room along with a state-of-the-art coffee machine. On the highest floor guests can make use of a kitchen and a roof top terrace with a jacuzzi. Whilst staying at Urban Rooms guests benefit from having the privacy of a smaller property while still being fully serviced by the main property 115 The Strand Hotel & Suites which has a 24hr reception. All facilities of 115 The Strand can be used by Urban Room's guests like Executive Lounge access and use of the Wellness Centre. The property also benefits from being directly opposite our Italian restaurant, Grana, which is elegantly furnished with a modern flair. Located within the hotel grounds, the restaurant offers a daily continental buffet breakfast between 07:00 and 10:30 as well as a traditional Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner, from 12.30 onwards.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I stayed in the Urban Rooms and it was very nice, clean, the bed was comfy and also the room was very quiet. Amazing view from the breakfast spot. Did not use the pool, but from what I could see it looked amazing. Would definitely come back for a next trip.

I stayed at the Urban Rooms by NEU Collective which was run by 115 The Strand Hotel. It was on the block behind and you used your keycard to open the front door and take the European sized elevator to your floor (ab0ut 3 rooms per floor) but nice sized and clean with all the amenities you'd need. There is a mini mart diagonally across the block for any late night cravings. You check in at The Strand for your keycard. The staff at The STrand is so helpful especially Damini. They answered all my questions, set up wakeup call and even had a breakfast packed for the very early morning of my checkout . They also have a representative with ISeeMalta that offers tickets to different excursion so if you have nothing planned you can get some ideas with them . The location is in Sliema just a few bus stops from the capital city Valetta. Moreover Sliema has access to ferries and boat trips. The bus station is across the street and down about a block, yet the Hop On Hop Off bus is just across the street. Plenty of restaurants and bars on this strip.

Great location, reasonably priced. Full use of main hotel amenities. Friendly staff. Fairly decent breakfast although the ‘hot’ food could have been hotter 🙈 We had a double and triple room, Room decor could do with a freshen up triple had a camp style bed, my daughter could sleep on a bed of nails so she was happy enough on that. bed linen was clean on arrival however could have been changed more often during stay, particularly the pillow cases. Great size en-suite in both rooms and powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Over all happy and would rebook. .

Overall it was good value for money. The room was spacious and modern, you had tea and coffee and a bottle of water in the room everyday. We had breakfast in 115 The Strand where it had an amazing view, however not everyone gets to have breakfast there. Some are put a different restaurant at the ground floor with no view so it can be a bit of a shame. The only things we didn't like was the AC was not working in either room so sometimes it was too hot or too cold and you couldn't adjust it. The TV kept stopping every few minutes sometimes for 5 minutes at a time, it didn't matter what channel it just kept happening so i assume the signal was bad. Lastly in terms of breakfast i would say it was quite varied but the dessert could be improved. Most of the desserts are just plain bread, no filling in them and not sweet. However i definitely think the overall experience was great!

Location was great, close to the Sliema ferry terminal and off the high street so not noisy from street traffic. Amenities were spa and roof top hot tub, fantastic to use in the morning or evening. Breakfast was at the sister hotel, an array of options with roof top harbour view overlooking the waterfront. Beautiful experience having breakfast on the balcony. The neu collective restaurant had the best pasta I have had in recent years. It’s the pasta with a huge shrimp. Tasty and extremely flavourful.
Hotel room was spacious, bathroom was very clean and it’s a place I would stay again when I visit Malta.

Overall it was an okay excperience. The room was quite alright and nice looking. The bathroom was good sized. But the drain didn’t work well and there were some weird color stains in the floor and the airconditioning didn’t work. The breakfast was not good at all and we made the desicion to not eat there everyday because of that. Food quality was nor good and there were not many options. The breakfast room was super crowded at all times, I cant even think how horrible it would be at summer when there is even more people. The hotel pool area was nice!

Location. Reception staff - Miloš, his welcome as well check in was professional and informative, intern do not know her name but she welcome us directly to the room. Excellent breakfast with stunning seaview. Very good service from all who served breakfast, but want to highlight especially Sandra whose friendliness and smile welcome us every morning. Everything was good. Small suggestion to housekeeping - floor in the room could be vacuumed or sweeped in 7 days.

Stayed for 6 nights at the hotel, the rooms were decent and had a modern feel to them but a few factors let them down. The breakfast was cold each morning had them under the light at 20 I guess if you went when it opened then it may be warmer. Had a beer in the hotel bar in the evening upstairs but was served almost flat. Finally, I was mostly disappointed when I was put in their urban rooms rather than the main hotel itself, I wouldn’t have minded but it is not what I expected and was disjointed from the hotel.

Windows in the rooms are as sound proof as if they would have been open. You hear EVERYTYHING outside all day and night.
Beds are extremely hard, to the extent that it is really hard to get a good nights sleep.
In the material on the website it is portrayed as if Aqualuna is a part of the hotel area, but it is really not, it is only that entrance is included. And the place is so overcrowded and loud you just don’t want to be there. The pool water is nasty (almost like milk) from all the people filling the pool.
The rooms themselfs are apart from the above decent, not more.
Location is ok, but no the most charming place. Other parts of the costal line, just 10-15 minutes walking is a lot nicer.

the hotel is in a good location. staff at reception is very nice. staff at breakfast is generally very lazy. in the price there are some bonuses included such as the sauna, the jacuzzi and the swimming pool. They are all of an average quality but since they were free we appreciated them anyway but certainly they were no good if you have high expectations. The quality of breakfast is average. The window in the room didn't shut properly so it wasn't sound proof. Room was clean. Beds had hard mattresses.
