"Beautifully situated overlooking the picturesque sister Islands of Gozo & Comino with its own private sandy beach, ideal for all ages." This very popular, spacious, comfortable and well-run family hotel has a secluded location surrounded by the clear warm water of the Mediterranean making it ideal for a leisurely holiday in the sun. Our room had a fridge that leaked, taps that produced a trickle of water, and very loud air conditioning. After two days water poured through the ceiling. We were allocated a new room but nobody offered to help with the move or gave us, for example, a free drink by way of apology. The dinners were monotonous, with limited choices, only one vegetable, and melon as the only fruit. We had to check out at 7am and were only offered a sandwich for breakfast.

Even if it's Saturday night in July, and you cannot find another place, look harder and don't settle for this place. The Maltese hospitality fails on all levels here, and verges on the level of robbery, considering this is a hotel where the water is unpalatable, yet they choose to sell a "large bottle" (really small) for €3.50, more than beer! They charge a deposit for towels, but are out when you go get one. The gate to the ocean is locked and no one knows how to open it. Why? Because everyone here is a "trainee" and no one has any idea what they are doing. Is this why it took 20 minutes to find my reservation and check me in? And parking... What parking? It's full. The safe in the room,,, broken! The wifi in the room?? Nope, 1 bar that fades out to nothing. The management pretends to care, but they don't really care about the guests. They pretend to have a covid measure, yet there are 150 people eating in the dining room with all the windows closed! Didn't someone stop and think for a moment? Really left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm sure the management will say something here like, we are sorry... etc. But they really aren't sorry. If they were, they'd have listened to comments before mine and made changes. This they did not do, so it is proof this hotel cares about no one but their Euros. Worst hotel ever award!

My daughter and I spent a day by the pool on Wednesday 7th July 2021. It was a lovely day in general and I would recommend anyone to spend a day by the pool there. However, the following are some points that in my opinion the hotel needs to work on: 1. upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist could have been more amicable; 2. the food and drinks offered during buffet lunch were delicious, however there was a lack of choice when it came to dessert. I would have expected plain ice-cream as part of the choice but it wasn't available; In conclusion, in my opinion, considering the price and what you get, it is highly worth it, when compared to other hotels which offer day by the pool with lunch.

We were diverted from Melliaha to Paradise Bay for a week's stay, due to an 'overbooking'. The hotel virtually occupies the Cirkewwa peninsular, which it shares with the Gozo Ferry Terminal. The rooms all seemed similar: large, mostly with balconies, with large bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning mostly OK, but overloaded when the hotel filled up [and when it was 41ºC outside]. The [salt water+chlorine] swimming pool is large and clean, though heavily chorinated early in the morning. There is a small [25 metre] private beach, with a beach bar and café; the rest of the peninsular is rocky. There is a popular scuba diving centre, just beyond the Ferry Terminal. Food was poor: insitutional, and not of the better sort. Think Butlins-minus. All food and drinks are served from a single long counter. The queue at the - single - drinks counter reached 15-20 minutes, at peak times. Service is variable. Best are the French and German 'stagiaires', doing their summer experience as part of their catering college courses: neat as a pin, friendly, efficient. Close behind are the Nepalese waiters and cleaners: quiet, cheerful, hard-working. Then there are the Maltis . . . . But what justifies the one-star rating is that, in a hotel with 300+ rooms and holding 750+ guests, there was not a SINGLE point where guests could freely get potable water. This, when the temparatures were daily at 40ºC or above. The taps are all marked "Non-potable". You can - if you queue up - get water during a meal from the drinks counter. Otherwise, you have to buy expensive bottled water. In my view, that constitutes a public health hazard. Kids particularly WILL drink from the taps, with the obvious likely effects. A V O I D

I am currently staying at the Paradise Bay Hotel. My room is 259 and my sink is blocked and not working. I went to reception at 8am 10am and 11.30am. I am unable too brush my teeth. The air con dose not work and my view of my room is roof tops. This is miss leading. Room is way to hot !!!! The fan makes too much noise and Aircon is rubbish.
