Excellent hotel. Amazing location. Close to everything and every attraction. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, delicious, cheap prices, pleasant to sit in the evening, excellent cocktails, excellent food, courteous waiters and exceptional service. The staff are excellent, welcoming, attentive, smiling, always ready to happily help. Ample parking. Excellent, varied, delicious breakfast. There is a possibility to use a Finnish sauna and a free hammam just need to book a place in advance, a clean and tidy place. Great room, large, clean and spacious. Quiet. The hotel has a lift. The hotel manager, Bojah, a charming, super pleasant and kind, cordial person, receives guests with excellent hospitality. Explains the whole area, the attractions including providing a free map and explanations and markings on it. Excellent Value for money. Recommended hotel, recommended, recommended.…
The perfect place to relax. Nature is beautiful and it attracted us to Zabljak. All praise to the hotel, especially the friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent not only for breakfast but also a la carte. The hotel is clean and epidemic measures are being respected. I highly recommend.
The hotel staff are very nice and spoke English with no trouble. The place is ultra quiet with comfortable beds and the room was clean. We rented a family suite with plenty of room and a mini bar. The breakfast was good with lots to choose from, including omelettes to order and cappuccino (with decaf even). Parking right out front is a bonus. Eat at the hotel, or it's walking distance to restaurants, though it was raining hard, so we chose to drive. The steam room and sauna area is nice, but you have to book a time slot for it, though that does give you all the privacy during your time. Very nice stay and can I highly recommend this place.
Great option for staying in Zabljak. This small hotel offers comfortable apartments, there is a breakfast area, restaurant and a mini spa. The location is perfect- 15 min from the lake and from town too. The stuff is very friendly and can help you explore the area. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant offer is excellent. Amazing food! The restaurant stuff is great and room services is good. The hotel is 12 years old and could use a bit of rebrush. The cleaning service is good but there seems to be a management issue - the cleaning service is done very late in the afternoon (off locations cleaning service deliver sheets and towels late)
Receptionists - excellent, nice, we got a villa which did not have nice views but was clean and big and fine. I am sure in the winter they are very cozy. The hotel itself is at a nice location, has a great playground with a terrace next to it. Food at breakfast was okay and comes up to 4 star hotel level, however service at breakfast - horrible. Only 2 people trying to serve everybody. Stupid walls so that you cannot serve yourself. Some people get served, others not. Increase the number of servers to at least 5-6 people if you want to provide appropriate services.
Due to covid restrictions my planned 5 day visit turned into a 10 day stay due to flight availability from Ireland, I was In Zabljak for the Blacklake extreme triathlon and Hotel Soa was in the perfect location just outside the entrance to the Durmitor national park and the Blacklake itself. Check in was quick and painless and you’ll have to forgive as I now forget the staff names but the girl was very pleasant and explained all I needed to know, the sauna and steam room was free for 1hr every day and was a super surprise and used most days by me. For the first few days I ate in the town until the race organiser prompted me to try the hotel, I was reluctant at first as they tend to be bland and over priced, but it was great advice, so good I only ventured into town once more and only because I wanted pizza after the race, the waiting staff were very attentive sometimes a little to much but that’s not really a negative, the menu was mostly European with a few Montenegrin dishes and I went through most of it with no complaints. At a price that matches the cafes and restaurants in town a quality that was better I was more than happy to dine at the hotel. The one bed apartment I had was to the side with a partial view to the mountains and got the sun for most of the day, It was perfect for me as most days after training I had a wash to do and dry so wet suit and training kit was hung out to dry not really an option if I’d a room to the front. It was very comfortable and cleaned daily I’d describe it as compact but if three people were sharing it’d be a bit tight but not impractical. Toilet was clean and shower was a great size with one of those huge shower heads, kitchenette was small and two ring hob wasn’t used, I’d planned on cooking for myself but when I found out how cheap it was to eat in I didn’t bother dinner with a beer and glass of wine for roughly €20 was a win win. The reception staff were brilliant very friendly and always made an effort to say bye when I left and a nice warm greeting when I returned and willing and able to answer any of my questions and suggest things to do on my free time, the zip line over the Tara bridge was a great recommendation, when I left for home I left a couple of boxes of chocolates as a small thank you as I felt so so welcome and made to feel at home. I hope to make a return visit to Zabljak some day and without giving a second thought I’ll book Hotel Soa I enjoyed my stay that much and I have no problem in recommending it to fellow travellers.…
all in one hotel is example of proper management to make guest feel comfortable followed by top class personnal and variety of food .Surrounding is self said story unforgettable and unique with full of fresh air and beauty. Hotel Soa is best which Zabljak can offer and one of the greatest all over country .
I don't recommend this hotel. We just spent two nights here with my family. The food is really bad, especially the breakfast. There are no views from the rooms, except for a parking lot and an abandoned hotel. The reception staff is stubborn and not very understanding. And finally, we were woken up at eight o'clock by the cleaning service.
Great small hotel with kindly staff. Good location (near city center and Balck lake) and tasty food. Also they have a lot of place for parking and teracce of caffe bar with children’s playground. Highly recommendation.
I stayed here 4 nights for a photography workshop. My room was large and well maintained. The bathroom was a good size by European standards and clean with places to put my toiletries. The bed was comfortable. The desk clerks were friendly and spoke English well. We ate 4 breakfasts and 4 dinners in the hotel and there were good selections. The meals were delicious and the waitstaff friendly and attentive. If I ever return to this area, there is no doubt in my mind that I would stay in this hotel again.
