8 nights at our home by the sea. This was mine and my daughters 2nd stay Casa Del Mar. Every single staff member at this beautiful hotel are truly amazing. Even the resident cats are so friendly. It's all about the attention to detail, cold face washes, fruit kebabs, ice treats & jugs of icy cold water by the pool. The tea coffee station with home made cookies to help yourself during the day in the library. Jar of peanuts with the same cookie your room. Coming back to your room after dinner, bed turned down, scented book mark and weather with things to do the next day. Water bottles and glasses next to the bed. Mugs with sachets of hot chocolate on the side board. Music playing and a wax melt candle burning, absolute heaven. The room itself is very well appointed, super comfy bed and pillows. Lounge area with table and chairs. Desk, dresser, fridge etc. Bathroom is huge with bathtub, separate shower, toilet, vanity & large wardrobe that houses the safe with plenty of hanging and storage space. Beautiful array of shampoo, conditioner, shower/bath gel, moisturiser, bath salts, mouth wash in pottery bottles. As well as your normal amenities. Our package included several 3 courses dinners, food here is exceptional. Also 2 x 1 hour fully body massages each at Satikar spa. OMG the best messages I have had. Such beautiful ladies. My daughter was celebrating her birthday & we booked the La Luna 7 course dinner that was paired with wines. Absolutely sensational night, food top notch & wines were amazing. My daughter was given a beautiful boutique of roses & chocolates at the end of the night. She was truly touched. Still on food, breakfast wow. A la carte & buffet with homemade bread's, pastries with 10 jams, cereals, salads, cheeses, cold meats, sushi, fruit, etc. My favourite was to build your own Nasi Lemak, different curry each day, and not forgetting to make your own breakfast cocktail. All washed done with fresh juice, barista coffee, or large tea selection. We also did a cooking course for lunch with the executive chef Amran. This was a lot of fun, great experience and very delicious. We made chicken sate with peanut sauce, beef & chicken randang, screw pine jackfruit desert. Sure to say we didn't eat dinner that night. We spent most of our days relaxing by the pool which has been much needed. We went to lucky hour a few times, which was fun chatting with other guests. Other times we would open the sliding door looking out to the magnificent view with a couple of drinks. Our 2nd last day returned to our room to find a hand written card from Fauzi the manager and a beautiful bottle of red wine. We certainly will be back, need to get our fish on the bar.
