We stayed at this hotel four nights. The location is great...right on the N10 just outside Echternach, so coming home from our daily excursions was easy and didn't involve city traffic and oneway streets. The hotel has ample parking, too, which was a plus since we had a car.
The owner speaks English, German, Dutch, and French and was very accomodating. Breakfast was served in a nice atrium. It was a typical continental breakfast served to your table and quite filling. Dinner was also served in this room, and you need to tell the owner earlier in the day that you will be attending dinner so that they can prepare. The food was very nice, mostly prepared in the French style with several nice choices, and the service was nice.
Our room was en suite with a shower and toilet and we had a small sitting area for extra moving room. All in all, a nice little place to come back to each night. Echternach was 5-10 minutes away. Luxembourg City was about 30-40 minutes by car. Trier is about 30 minutes away.

Very nice clean family hotel.Very helpful manager and staff. Nice garden, near to the river, good parking and free wifi. Just few kms from Echternach. Recommand for couples and families with car for holiday and vacation tours. Only breakfast is simple and negligible for the price. Just few pieces salami and cheese.

We were in Luxembourg for my wife's niece's wedding.We stayed here for 4 days, and what a great experience! Service was consistently excellent, room and premises were always clean, neat and well kept, staff was very friendly and the location was central to where we needed to be and travel to. Our primary points of interest were the Girsterklaus and Consdorf, both were within 12 kilometers and easily accessible. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Luxembourg.

Bad experience. Extremely noisy during the night with internal noises that you don't know where they come from. Noises even during the day from the road adjacent to the hotel. Insects can also be found in the rooms. Poor soap in the bathroom. They are small counted sachets. Very poor breakfast consisting of 3 or 4 things counted. It is not a buffet and is served at the table with everything counted down to the millimeter. At the reception an indisposed and rude lady (not only told by me but also by other customers of the hotel) who seems to be everywhere in the hotel to check and beat her customers continuously in their behavior. She looks like the Rottermaier from Heidi's cartoon. The reception lady who never sleeps in the absence of customers goes to check the rooms if everything is in order. Among other things, Mrs. Rottermeier when I arrived had a wrong reservation of my rooms and insisted on wanting to be right but then after contacting Expedia she realized that she was very wrong. What a shame. Honestly, I do not recommend you to come to this hotel but if you want to experience the emotion then: HAVE FUN. In short, I could not find worse.

Nice, clean hotel. No extra's, shower wasn't working well (no pressure on the water). Good mattress, pillow too soft. We took the gastronomic weekend formula but to be honest, this wasn't worth the price difference with the half board formula (the same menu, just one small extra in between). Apart from that, the food was excellent! Very nice dinner, season-adapted dishes. Breakfast was ok (sandwiches, egg, yoghurt and coffee). Perfect location for very beautiful hikes! Packed lunch was available according to the website but there was hesitation when asking for it.. In the end, we just got some breakfast sandwiches. No drinks, fruit or small dessert like we are used to (hiking in Germany/France quite a lot + always specifically look for a hotel with packed lunch service).

Room was fairly basic but exceptionally clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I arrived very early but check in was no problem. The food was absolutely amazing!! I stayed for 3 nights before going to Luxembourg City.... wish I'd stayed here to be perfectly honest!! Great access to hiking and cycling routes, and lots of things in the area to visit. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting this region.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Room nice and clean but a little small and old-fashioned. Parking space usually available but not when arriving late at night. Breakfast disappointing; no buffet but served; only white buns with meats, cheese, jam and boiled egg; no choice of eggs, no fruits, no tomatoes, no cereals, only a small glass of juice. Always exactly the same, which gets very boring after some days. Dinner good but old-fashioned menu with little greens and bit expensive.

A really lovely hotel right on the river, with cycle lanes in every direction. Quite a rural location, but perfect if you want to get away somewhere quiet.
Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. The food is absolutely amazing, although quite expensive but definitely worth it! There are a few other restaurants within walking distance but we didn't try those.
