Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The hotel was clean, the room is spacious, and the service was excellent. The toilet door though is heavy and we struggled to open and close. The shower is a bit funny. The water will suddenly turn cold then hot again in the middle of showering. The wifi is good but disappointingly limited to 2 devices only. Breakfast was decent, but the location from the top floor was breathtaking.
The nearby plaza is disappointing. Nothing much to shop (many are closed). Food prices are expensive (Note:the price quoted doesnt include 10% service charge and 11% government tax).
The beach is beautiful and at low tide you can walk towards the open sea. Just don't go all the way.
The hotel provided free transport to and fro Nirwana Resorts. You can explore the resorts and dine at the nearby kelong (very pricy).
We booked the hotel to recce the place before registering for the coming Mandiri marathon. The nearby Lagoi Bay lake has a clean well-maintained walking path along it. For 2 straight mornings we ran around this incredibly beautiful lake.

NEGATIVES I booked a queen sized bed, instead they give me two twins put together.
Hotel offers taxi transportation services but a ridiculous price, best to speak to a local and make personal arrangement.
Wifi at the room was pretty bad, and they weren’t able to offer a solution for it.
Struggle a bit with lack of hot water to shower, but it was mostly fixed shortly after raising this up to front desk.

Booked a stay with them for 3D2N since there was a promotion on their website; It was to celebrate my partner's birthday. It was perfect! We got to enjoy Lagoi Bay Beach and finding a place to eat was easy. The rooftop pool was the best place to chill out and to watch the sun set (it was beautiful from up there). Staff were always friendly just like how it was on my previous stay. We had a nice dinner at the rooftop restaurant to celebrate my partner's birthday, although pricey, it was worth every Rupiah. The food was top notch! Thank you Grand Lagoi Hotel!

Disappointed by poor service at this hotel. Booked grand deluxe for a family of 4, but all amenities (bed, towel, slippers, toiletries, water) are catered for 3pax only. Requests, such as additional water bottles, are with additional payment so you wont feel like a guest. Child was unwell and requested for cold pack. They were unable to provide and just went silent. Last straw was not allowing even 30min extension in their 12nn check out policy. Any extension is again with payment condition. There are better accomodations within the bintan area where you wont feel like a cash cow.

Stayed in the hotel for 1 night and it comes with breakfast. The hotel lobby is spacious and staff is friendly. The room is big enough for 2 people. Very basic amenities are provided. It would be great if the body wash and shampoo are provided separately and hair conditioner is also provided. The roof top pool is nice with great views. The breakfast is decent with western and local food.

The bed is one of the comfiest we’ve ever experienced. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. I also like how the hotel offers bicycles free for use for the guests to cycle around the area!

Nice modern clean hotel with typical south east asian hospitality. Decent amenities inside and outside the hotel. Only issue is that you need a car booking to go anywhere. Unlike bali or some other places you cant rent a car or scooter here. Else all good.

It was really fun and very enjoyable. The place had a games room, movie theatre (didn't know how to use it), spa, and even bicycles for cycling around the lake. They had the beach which was accessible, walking distance There was also shops nearby. Their facilities were really neat, the gym had AC, the swimming pool had a great view! and the restaurant served good food. The only displeasure was my parents room 319, the shower glass door was squeaking every time they wanted to take a bath, please get it fixed if possible 😢 Overall it was a great stay and we enjoyed it. 😁

The hotel room is very spacious and clean. The bed is also very comfortable. They even have an infinity pool on their roof top with a view of a lake! It is very relaxing! It is also located near Lagoi plaza which have mini marts, some shops and restaurants and even a beach! Very convenient location!
