Had visited Parambikulam Tiger Reserve in July 2016. Having read mixed reviews about the Tiger Reserve,we were not expecting a perfect jungle safari feel & also were expecting a lot of not so comfy stay @ Honey comb complex. But surprisingly every thing apart from the road was so good. I was checking with some private agents & was quoted... More

It is completely down to luck to which animals you see - from our experience, you will most likely see deer, warthog, peacocks, water buffalo and monkeys - which are all lovely animals to see. It is natural to be disappointed not to see wild elephants or tigers, but this is total luck! We were on a day trip with... More

Just returned home from a two week memorable Western Ghats- Southern Nature & Wildlife Sanctuary vacation, travelling solo. Coming from a concrete jungle in the Far East, this vacation was a feast for my entire being...I am missing it already!!! 1. Raj Kumar, Grasshills Tours & Travels, chauffeured me around and played my tour guide as well. At this reserve,... More

At the outset, let me state, I love Parambikulam with its forests, restrictions and rustic charm. Then you might wonder why I gave it a three star rating. That is because, for an average tourist, this might just be a huge disappointment. Parambikulam is only for folks who go for trip without expectations or they should be the type who... More

My family including our boys ages 10 and 13 spent one night at Parambikulam in May. We stayed in the tented niche. We enjoyed the food and tour and saw elephants, indian guar, wild boar, peacocks, giant squirrels, langurs and macaques and more. The raft trip provided beautiful scenery but no visible animals. We enjoyed meeting Indian families on holiday... More

We dıd an overnight stay package at the Honeycomb complex. Our guıde was very good and had limıted Englısh. We dıdn't really expect to see tigers, and we didn't, but dıd see a tiger paw print. We had hoped to see elephants, but didn't on our safari. However, on our trek the next morning we were fortunate to see two... More

We've booked tented niche through Western Ghats Tourism who is located in Pollachi. They charged 3800/head whereas actual charge is 3250/- only when you book through govt website. Don't trust third rated/party websites. They are very rude in handling customers. Beware of Western Ghats Tourism

Firstly, to visitors who have been on a safari in Africa before - this is completely different! The park in essentially jungle making it very difficult to see wildlife. Also, this place is very difficult to book as the website did not work. We ended up booking a 2 day 1 night trip through Grass Hills Tours and Travels who... More

We opted for the treetop hut at thunakadavu. Although it's a pretty good distance from the other tents and dining hall, it sure is worth the drive. We had a lovely view of the reservoir from our balcony. The room was small, but neat and adequate. The food was pretty good as well. The package includes all meals, a safari... More

Firstly this is not a cheap trip. We drove from Munnar which is a long way. Staying in on of the tents we felt should of been a real wonderful experience with nature. On arrival it appeared the price quoted on phone and website had changed, your entrance to the park is also not included and it seemed at every... More
