Hotel Maestral is a small, family run hotel on a quiet island Prvic near the town of Sibenik in Dalmatia, Croatia. There are no cars on the island but there is a secure parking for our guests on the mainland. Island is very peaceful with two small fishing villages and lots of Mediterranean herbs and plants. Hotel is located in a former school house building that was fully reconstructed and turned into hotel in 2004.

I stayed here for a week for a SwimTrek holiday. The hotel is very clean with simply furnished rooms. Filip the owner is extremely helpful and responsive on email. He organised the transfers to/from the airport and anything else that was needed. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed staying there. The location right by the pier is beautiful, especially the terrace overlooking the harbour. I had a couple of very nice meals there. Very highly recommended.

I only stopped for a coffee but I was very impressed. The staff were amazingly helpful. It was a haven of peace and tranquillity. Only I’d a boat to catch I’d have stayed. The manager even pointed me in the direction of the other pier for the boat back to Sibenik.

I stayed at Hotel Maestral for a SwimTrek holiday. It’s a really lovely family-run hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I changed room once (for logistical reasons) and both rooms though small were spotlessly clean and perfectly fine. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good too. I only ate in the restaurant one night but it was very tasty. I have seen some comments about the neighbouring church and bells which are rung hourly/half hourly but you do stop hearing them after a while. I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

I stayed here for a week and was overwhelmed by the helpfulness of the staff. I was part of a swimming holiday organised by SwimTrek and had a room to myself. The breakfast was very good with as much as you wanted from a great selection of cheese, ham, eggs, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, etc. Service was with a smile as well! The hotel is right beside the water so you can sit and enjoy the views either in the sun or shade. I loved the island because there were no cars so it is extremely peaceful and unspoilt. It isn’t one’s typical seaside holiday resort but very restful and the hotel staff made one feel very comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the shower was good. All delightful!

Our extended family stayed here as part of the SwimTrek week. We were made extremely welcome by Filip and his staff during the whole stay. Our rooms (3) were clean and comfortable, with plenty of strong hot water. The breakfast was very generous, with the staff remembering what we prefer to eat. I would highly recommend Hotel Maestral. The car free island life a real treat.
